Night Of Hope Walk for Cancer - Sidney, NE Night of Hope Foundation Walk for Cancer Helping with the MHC Hospice Room.

Through the support and generosity from our community, the Night of Hope Foundation has been able to benefit Sidney and Cheyenne County in many ways. Over the past years, funds have been donated to: purchase new waiting room furniture and a lighted mural for the Dorwart Cancer Care Center, sponsor scholarships for students studying medicine through Western Nebraska Community College, purchase reference materials for the Sidney Public Library that help to educate people on cancer and treatment and help many patients with travel and medical expenses through the Circle of Friends program. And most recently helping with the Dorwart Cancer Care Center obtaining a lift and blanket warmers for the Cancer Patients.

The Night of Hope Walk For Cancer Board meet Wednesday Evening to work on finalizing the 2026 Cancer Walk. We are still receiving donations and working on the Silent Auction. Due to the rain, our bid sheet needed to dry out so that we could work on contacting those who have bids. NOTE: If you had a bid on an item, we will be reaching out to you. Please be patient with us as we work through this.
At this time, we have brought in approximately $30,000. Team Fox was the top team with Escape with Michelle in 2nd and Amber's Rack Pack in 3rd. Kelly Bilbrey won the Quilt donated by Jody Aure.
The Slide Show didn't get played due to the rain. It will be available for viewing on our website and at the Fox Theatre.
