A wonderful connector of people, Dr. Denowitz has been a valued advocate for Fairfield County’s physician community and a dedicated member of the FCMA Board of Trustees. We are grateful that while she may be retiring from the practice, she is not retiring from FCMA!

Dr. Genova’s nomination reflects many of the qualities that defined Dr. Magida’s legacy: clinical excellence, compassion, integrity and an unwavering commitment to patients. Patients and colleagues describe a surgeon who listens, treats every patient as a person, eases fears and takes the time to ensure patients and families feel heard and supported. She is also recognized as a generous teacher, mentor and leader who brings that same compassion and respect to her colleagues and community.

A leader in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Dr. Genova has performed more than 2,500 robotic procedures and is deeply committed to educating the next generation of medical professionals. Dr. Genova attended University of Bridgeport and University of Illinois College of Medicine.
