🤠Visiting the library can be an excellent family affair, and our latest Kid Librarian, Chloe exemplified that perfectly!🤠

Chloe had brought some majorly fun energy and fun book selections to the library like; Ghosts 👻, Last Kids on Earth 🧟‍♂️, Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid 📕, Dog Man 🐶, and Mighty Robot! 🤖

That's far from everything Chloe enjoys though, as she also gravitates towards fantasy, funny books, and graphic novels! She said that her favorite thing about reading is that it makes her happy and calm. And her fun fact that she gave us to share is that she's quote, "weird, kind, and more weird." 😂

We hope we can be more like Chloe, and we hope future Kid Librarians also take after her awesome example! 🙌

Summer Reading Program starts TOMORROW!! 😎

🌊Our latest Kid Librarian has certainly made a splash! Please welcome Rexlynn!🌊

Rexlynn was thrilled to share some of her all time favorites such as: T-Rex vs Edna The First Chicken, 🦖 Fancy Nancy Stellar Stargazer 🌌, Little Sister's Bracelet 📿, Biscuit Wants To Play 🐕, and Courious George and the Firefighters! 🚒

Rexlynn also enjoys books about coloring, painting, and swimming! Her favorite thing about reading is that it can sometimes be funny. And when we asked her for a fun fact about herself, she said she likes to camp in a tent and eat s'mores! ⛺

We sure like Rexlynn's idea of summer reading, and we can't wait to take inspiration from more cool Kid Librarians!

The weather has been hot but our latest Kid Librarian, Claire is too cool!

Claire visited and dropped a spectacular arrangement of book choices to share such as: Cornbread and Poppy 🐭, The Last Firehawk 🐦‍🔥, Zookeepers 🐯, I'm Going to Be a Vet 👩‍⚕️, and Bobcats! 🐱

Claire also enjoys reading about animals, King Arthur, nature, and music! 🎵 As a true artist, Claire's favorite thing about reading are the pictures! And when we asked her for a fun fact about herself, she let us know that she loves painting! 🎨

Though the sun is bright, with such varied interests, a wonderful Kid Librarian like Claire is sure to be even brighter! 😎

🐉We're back from our Memorial Day weekend with our latest Kid Librarian, Chase!🐉

Chase dropped some great book recommendations to check out including: Minecraft: The Voyage 🎮, Skandar and the Spirit War 👻, Magyk ✨, The Necromancer 🧟‍♂️, and The Race to Chimney Rock! 🏜

If you're looking for more great recommendations from Chase, be sure to check both the fantasy and history sections. Chase let us know that his favorite thing about reading is that it takes you to a different world! And a fun fact that he graciously shared with us is that he was born in the same town as George Washington!🦅

With such a presidential heritage we can only hope that a Kid Librarian might someday be a president! You'll have our vote Chase! 🗽
