Rugged Cross Outdoors Rugged Cross Outdoors is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that strives to make a difference in the lives of all outdoor enthusiasts.

Rugged Cross Outdoors utilizes hunting & fishing as an avenue to witness by engaging in 6 different ministry areas. We participate in several youth hunting & fishing events, media production and speaking and outreach activities. The goal of RCO is to carry out the mission of Christ's disciples to go into the world and preach his gospel to those in need.

In 1 Corinthians 9:19, the Apostle Paul writes, "Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible."

This means Paul willingly gave up his personal rights, habits, and preferences to relate to different people and share the Christian message effectively. Now that’s living intentionally!

Question to ponder: How can we all live more intentionally as Christians to positively impact others for Jesus and share His amazing message seen in the Gospels?

In the book of Romans, Paul illustrated a picture of us that is not pretty! We were “sinners,” “God’s enemies,” and “unable to help ourselves”. We were defined as pathetic! Kind of sad actually!
Yet, Jesus died for us! We come to Christ as we are or we can’t come to him at all. Christ Jesus alone can change us into the people we were destined to be.
Don’t waste your time cleaning up your act before coming to Jesus! Come as you are and start living intentionally today! You won’t regret it!
Romans 5:8 says “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

What a way to kick off our fall mission schedule! We had an absolute blast in Montana at Powder River Outfitters! Both Ethan and Kailee were blessed to harvest two beautiful speed goats! We were in camp with a great group of hunters who shared their knowledge of hunting these beautiful animals! As always the crew at Powder River Outfitters were at the top of their game and put us in a great position to be successful! Special thanks to Travis and DeAnna Anderson (owners), Hadli Anderson, Tristen, Lance and Liam (our guides) for making this a great experience for the whole group! Our fall mission trips kick off this week with a trip back to Powder River Outfitters in Montana for an archery antelope hunt! After picking up Ethan and Kailee Menteer along with their uncle Casey (from Pennsylvania) at the Rapid City regional airport we had dinner and then headed over to Mount Rushmore. Unfortunately it was foggy and a little rainy so it was hard to get the full effect of what magnificent sight it is. Today we will drive 2 1/2 hours to camp near Broadus, Montana and start hunting antelope tomorrow morning! Looking forward to spending time with all our friends at Powder River Outfitters! Special thanks to Travis Anderson and his wife DeAnna for setting this hunt up and hosting us for the next 4 days! Praise God for another opportunity to enjoy His beautiful creation! As we begin our fall season and start to share our theme with others (Living with Intent) we are reminded that so many of us are stuck and think to ourselves, how can I live intently for the Lord when I am mired down in guilt and shame due to my continued failures?

When we feel like this we need to remember Peter. Peter denied Jesus three times the night before His crucifixion. He said he did not know Jesus! Can you imagine the guilt and shame Peter must have felt?

But, what did Jesus do? How did he respond to Peter after He rose from the dead? He called him to come and welcomed him back! He prepared a place for him at the breakfast table. He fed him! Then, He asked Peter to tend his sheep even though he denied him not once but three times.

No matter where you are right now, Jesus invited you to come back to the table and live with intent! It’s never too late to get back on track and serve the Lord! No matter what you have done!

Come with us on our journey to live intently for Jesus this upcoming year!

Look up John 8:36! You are free indeed!

Hard to believe that our fall events start in a couple weeks. This years theme is Living with Intent!

Ephesians 5:15-17: says, “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. “

As Christians we are called to live carefully, make good use of our time, and engage with Jesus and His word to learn God's will. The scripture urges believers to walk with wisdom instead of carelessness.

It’s going to be a great season.
