This YoJACK semester went by so quickly! These 8th grade leaders are off to become High School leaders and have extremely bright futures. The students met at First Presbyterian Church in Seymour today and were able to tour Sweet Cheeks Diaper Pantry. Thank you to Jessica Raynor Olsen for the tours and information! We were also treated to a visit from the Mayor of Seymour, Matthew Nicholson, where he delivered an official YoJACK day proclamation to the students.

The students also spent time writing YoJACK reflections, which they then delivered to their peers this afternoon. We also celebrated a birthday (Happy Birthday, Landon!) and enjoyed some time with the adorable and friendly church dog, Rizzo!

Congratulations to Karen Haas, YoJack Director, on being named the 2026 Girls Inc. Champion! Several LJC board members and YoJack volunteers attended the Girls Inc. Gala to honor Karen and demonstrate support for Girls Inc.

Calling all current 7th grade Jackson County students!

YoJACK applications for the 2026/2027 school year have been delivered delivered to all Jackson County middle schools! Students who would like to be considered for the 2026/2027 school year will need to complete and submit applications by Friday, May 1st. See your school counselor or school secretary to get your application!
