Look at Gracie now!! ❀️ Her adopter, Jill, relocated to North Dakota a few years ago and what a great time Gracie has watching wildlife walking through her backyard while sitting in her cat tree!!

Here's what Jill wrote about Gracie meeting Jill's recently adopted rescue dog! "Our girl gets gold stars for being the welcoming committee lol. She’s kind of always been the bossiest about owning the lap, but she let Posey curl up with us and just purred along. I’m so proud of her and happy they like each other so quickly!"

Gracie is loving life and it's wonderful staying in touch with our friends and adopters!

It took Jeff almost four weeks to rescue this little family along with Renee, the finder. She contacted Jeff four weeks ago asking him to help this pregnant cat that was dumped in her neighborhood and could he help.

Mama, being pregnant and dumped in unfamiliar territory remained elusive, and during this time had her babies. The only times Renee saw her was when she showed up at feeding time. Jeff couldn't help until her babies were found and she continually moved her family around to new places.

They were finally found living under the neighbors house yesterday and...

Jeff, our friend and stellar cat lover, put his Father's Day plans on hold to save this family. He is their hero!

Mama has an URI, is covered in ants and super thin. She had her second round of antibiotics this morning, is cleaned up and looking a thousand times better than yesterday. She's already consumed 4 cans of Fancy Feast. The babies have goopy eyes, but other than that, they are healthy thanks to mother's nurturing. ❀️

Welcome to the Underground to Little Orphan Annie and the three littles yet you be named!

It takes a village and thanks to Jeff and Renee's dedication, this family is on their way to living the life we wish they all could ❀️

To the person that left these 6 beautiful kittens in a crate between two fences where it was a miracle that they were found. There is a special place for you. It is going to be in the high 80’s today and they would have suffered so much in the heat. They are the sweetest, healthiest kittens. They are now safe with us.
We could sure use kitten kibble and canned food.

We've hesitated in sharing this story. Rescuers see things that are so awful and terrible, that many stories are never shared. Caution reading this.

A couple weeks ago a good Samaritan was driving and noticed a tiny kitten in the grass off the side of the road. She also saw a box close by. Thankfully, she stopped to save the kitten and decided to inspect the box. Upon opening the box, she found a mama and her litter crushed and dead. From the condition of the mama and babies, it appears they were put in this box and then run over, thereby crushing and killing them. Our vet indicated it was a likely possibility this precious kitty was ejected out of the box upon impact.

Somewhere along the line, someone had moved the box out of the road and onto the grass area.

Much respect to the finder who, though extremely upset, remained strong and determined in her commitment in saving this kitty.

It was rushed to Selah Veterinary Hospital where x-rays showed a broken pelvis. He is also underdeveloped, making him look half his age of 6 weeks.

He's had multiple veterinary visits. We are still not sure if he's out of the woods yet.

This precious miracle kitten has been through so much in his first few weeks of life πŸ˜” He is not in any pain, and is now in
good hands with us. He's safe and loved and we are doing all we can for him.

Welcome to the Underground, Canelo! Accepting donations for his care at Selah Veterinary Hospital (info below)

Meet Weeble - he's got "Wobbly Cat Syndrome" aka Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) - a non-painful, non-contagious neurological condition.

He's under 1 # and was found all alone and brought to us from our Greenway friends. He couldn't have walked or crawled to where he was found, so the likely scenario is he was just left there by someone.

INTERESTING FACT
CH occurs when the cerebellum-the part of the brain responsible for balance and motor skills fails to develop fully in the womb. This is mainly caused due to the mother being infected with the feline panleukemia virus. Another important reason to vaccinate your cats and kittens.

Weeble was born this way and is not our first wobbly kitty. Though he's only been with us a few days, he can really chow down on his wet food which he loves ❀️ Litter box training is currently a challenge but Weeble will figure it out. He has a very low sided box to help him, while we try and make his life as accommodating as possible.

Weeble, we love you and Welcome to the Underground!

Today is #19's second Adoptaversary!! ❀️ 😍 πŸ’– Here's an update on this precious boy!

19 is loved to the moon and back by his dad, JT, and has all the toys a cat could ask for, lacking nothing!! Last year, JT wanted a friend for 19 and adopted Sister Marley from us.

These two were meant to be. 19 and SM are like two peas in a pod. Where you find one, there's the other. Cuddle bunnies!

A while ago, JT noticed 19 had a growth, a small bump really, by his teat and took him in. His vet removed the growth and a biopsy was done. Turns out is was a malignant sarcoma. The vet feels like it shouldn't come back and he did remove the whole thing, but JT is keeping an eye on it.

19 has grandparents that come over and "babysit" sometimes while JT is working. His is treated like the king that he is and we love the updates so much.

We occasionally visit JT and the gang, since they only live down the block from our Mascot Uno.

Much love to JT and his family. 19 and Sister Marley expect salmon for dinner to celebrate πŸ₯³ πŸŽ‰
