Feel that chill in the air? It's your inner skiier thawing out. We are kicking things off on October 3rd with our annual Season Opening Potluck, where we can catch up, talk gear, and get everyone hyped for what is coming.
Once the snow hits in January, the road trips begin. January 7–10 has us heading to Mt. Baker. Right on its heels, from January 9–16, a group is flying out to L**h am Arlberg, Austria, to experience world-class European terrain, massive interconnected trail maps, and proper alpine culture. For those who love endurance and cross-country, Methow Valley from January 21–25 to glide through the second-largest groomed Nordic network in the country.
February stays just as busy. We kick off February 3–7 at Schweitzer for four days of open bowls and lake views, followed quickly by a trip up to Banff, Canada for Presidents' Day Weekend (February 10–15) to take on the Canadian Rockies. To close out the month, February 18–21 marks our 42nd consecutive Stevens Pass cabin trip. We have our favorite spot just off the highway, putting us minutes away from both the downhill chairlifts and the Nordic Center.
We wrap up the main season in March with two iconic Pacific Northwest destinations. From March 5–8, we head to White Pass for their annual Winter Carnival so expect snow carvings, a costume theme, torchlight parade, and fireworks. Finally, from March 18–22, we head down to Mt. Bachelor and Sunriver to lap 4,300 acres of 360-degree volcanic terrain.
