We had an amazing time with the kids at our first Hoop Heroes camp of the summer. It was three great days filled with learning, competing, and having fun.
Throughout camp, the kids learned new basketball skills while also focusing on what it means to be a great teammate. We stressed the importance of staying positive, encouraging one another, and understanding that everyone makes mistakes. The key is having a “next play” mentality—learn from it, move on, and keep giving your best.
We also had plenty of competitions and fun games throughout the camp, and winners got donuts. We learned quickly that all of our campers loved krispy kreme donuts 😊
A few players missed from picture but we want to Thank all the families that had there children join our camp. Stay tuned for our July and August Hoop Heroes Camps for boys and girls entering 3rd–8th grade. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the gym! 🏀💙❤️
