Music For All Seasons brings healing musical experiences, songwriting programs, and human connection into communities through the power of music, storytelling, and participation. Music For All Seasons fosters human interaction and healing, through the art of live musical performance, for people who, for health economic or social reasons are unable to attend concerts. By facilitating the performanc

e of live musical events in a wide range of institutions - including children's hospitals, retirement facilities, juvenile detention centers, nursing homes, medical centers, halfway houses and prisons - MFAS helps aid the healing process, physical, mental and spiritual. Also by solidifying the commitment of young, professional artists to serving special audiences, and creating regular volunteer opportunities to serve local communities, MFAS fosters stronger, more interconnected communities.

🎶 New Voices of Valor Release: I Stand Tall 🎶

Today, we are proud to share I Stand Tall, an original song created by Changing Lanes, a Voices of Valor group made up of Veterans from Veteran's Haven South in Winslow, New Jersey.

Through conversation, storytelling, and creative collaboration, these Veterans transformed their experiences into a powerful song about resilience, determination, and finding strength through community.

The group heard their completed song for the first time on June 16, 2026, and we are honored to now share it with all of you.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitators, Kate Hall and Matt Orlando, recording engineer Eric McNelis, and Gradwell House Recording for helping bring this project to life.

Special thanks to The Blanche & Irving Laurie Foundation for supporting Voices of Valor and helping make programs like this possible.

Please join us in celebrating the Veterans of Changing Lanes by watching, listening, and sharing their incredible work.

🎶 MFAS Musician Spotlight 🎶

Through this series, we're highlighting the talented musicians who bring creativity, connection, and the healing power of music to the communities we serve.

This week's featured musicians are Kate Hall and Chris Bishop, the duo behind Love? said the Commander.

Kate Hall is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, teacher, producer, and composer whose passion lies in sharing the healing power of music and sound with others. Chris Bishop, a lifelong guitarist and former educator, rediscovered his path in music and found his musical partner in Kate in 2018.

Together, they have been writing, performing, and recording as Love? said the Commander, creating music that reflects their shared creativity, connection, and love of collaboration.

We're grateful to have Kate and Chris sharing their talents through Music for All Seasons programs and helping create meaningful musical experiences for the communities we serve. 💙

Today is the release celebration for “Sinking” by Broken and Alive through the Voices of Change program with Common Ground Grief Center and Music for All Seasons.

In just a few hours, these young artists will hear their finished song together for the very first time.

What began as conversations about grief, loss, healing, and lived experiences became lyrics, music, and now a recorded song.

We are incredibly proud of their courage, honesty, and creativity. 💚
