⨠One week ago, we gathered for a day of prayer, brotherhood, and formation. Today, we look ahead to a new year of supporting our seminarians and strengthening Catholic men throughout our Diocese. â¨
Men from every corner of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux gathered for the Maximilian Kolbe Societyâs Inaugural Menâs Retreatâa day marked by prayer, fellowship, formation, and a renewed call to discipleship.
Through inspiring talks from Fr. Nick Ware and Paul George, Holy Mass with Bishop Emeritus Sam Jacobs, time in Adoration, Confession, the Rosary, and prayer alongside Bishop Simon Peter Engurait, men were encouraged to grow deeper in their faith and embrace their vocation as leaders, husbands, fathers, and sons of God.
The day also celebrated a remarkable milestone: the presentation of a $100,000 gift to the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux in support of seminarian education and formation. In just one year, the generosity of Maximilian Kolbe Society members has made a lasting impact on the future of our Church.
As we reflect on this grace-filled retreat, we also look ahead with gratitude and anticipation. Our current membership year is coming to a close, and a new year of mission and impact is about to begin.
Now is the perfect time to renew your membership or join the brotherhood.
Through your annual membership, you help provide for the education and living expenses of our seminarians while standing alongside other Catholic men committed to prayer, fellowship, and service to the Church.
The retreat may be behind us, but the mission continues.
Letâs begin this new year of the Maximilian Kolbe Society with renewed faith, renewed purpose, and renewed commitment to supporting the future priests of our Diocese. Learn more or renew your membership at KolbeSociety.org.
