The Albany Medical Student Association is hosting the 7th Annual Sickle Cell Awareness Walk on Sunday, September 27th at the Washington Park Lake house starting from 11:30AM. There's no sign up needed. As we know, sickle cell disease is exclusively diagnosed for black and brown people. While there is no official cure, in recent years, there has been major advancements in reversing the effects in the disease.
