Thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise $822 — and for that, we are deeply and sincerely grateful.
In close collaboration with the school, we used these funds to purchase three televisions, one printer, and three book shelves that will serve as the foundation for a new English Corner — a dedicated space where students can immerse themselves in learning English. This initiative has been warmly received by both teachers and students.
The televisions were an essential addition, as our school still relies on blackboards and chalk. With these new screens, teachers can now conduct lessons using digital presentations and video lessons, making classes more interactive and engaging. It’s a meaningful step forward in creating a more modern and dynamic learning environment for students.
The printer was also urgently needed. The school previously had only 2-3 aging printers, which often malfunctioned, making it difficult for students and teachers to print assignments or important documents. The new printer will significantly improve access to learning materials.
We also purchased a few educational toys for the kindergarten — tools that help children learn the English alphabet in a playful and engaging way. Introducing English at such an early age will spark curiosity and set a strong foundation for future learning.
As part of the English Corner, we bought three book shelves to store English books and resources.
We are still in the process of raising additional funds to fill these shelves with a diverse selection of books. Also, thankfully, some generous individuals have already donated books, and we have a few ready to be sent to Kyrgyzstan — along with enough funds to purchase more. But our work isn’t done yet — this is an ongoing effort.
