The Savage Arts Council, doing business as the Savage Area Arts Community, a 501.c.3 non-profit was founded in 2006 for the purpose of adding cultural art events to the growing southern metro area of the Twin Cities, building art appreciation and supporting regional artists. This organization has presented many community art events over the years, such as The Savage Juried Art Show & Competition,
the Minnesota River Arts Festival, and the Scott County Art Crawl. We also provide free public art exhibits at Savage City Hall in collaboration with the City of Savage, MN. Our home is the Savage Arts and Cultural Center, located through the east entrance of the Savage Public Library. At the Center we offer visual fine arts classes, literary arts classes, workshops, and exhibits. Local artists are invited to exhibit their work in the Savage Arts and Cultural Center, most of which is also available for sale. We are a volunteer-led, community-based arts organization that supports art programs in Savage Minnesota and the south/southwest twin cities that brings audiences from the greater metropolitan market. If you are interested in participating as a volunteer, we'd love to have you join the fun! Please send a message via Facebook.
