Dear Chet F. Harritt Families,

I am excited to invite you to our 3rd Annual Unity Fair (formerly known as our Multicultural Festival)—a vibrant celebration of the many cultures that make our community so special. This year, we are honored to host this event on our campus! I hope you will join us to support this special evening and help showcase to the entire district what makes our school community so welcoming, diverse, and extraordinary.

The Unity Fair will take place on May 13 from 4-6 p.m. at Chet F. Harritt.

Join us for an evening filled with connection, learning, and fun! The fair will kick off with a special flag ceremony and will feature live performances, including our very own Ballet Folklórico and OPUS students. Families can also enjoy a free kid zone with games and activities, cultural displays from each school, and a variety of delicious local eats.

Our Expanded Learning Programs students have worked hard to create informational booths showcasing countries across the globe, including:

Cajon Park: Greece & Japan
Carlton Hills: Middle East & Peru
Carlton Oaks: Italy & Ireland
Chet F. Harritt: India & Philippines
Hill Creek: Vietnam & Thailand
Pepper Drive: Russia & Congo
PRIDE Academy: Germany & Mexico
Rio Seco: Egypt & Haiti
Sycamore Canyon: Spain & Poland

This family-friendly event is open to our entire community. We encourage you to invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join us as we celebrate unity, culture, and the shared experiences that bring us together.

The last STEAM Night of the year will focus on Art, the A in STEAM, next Thursday, April 30.

The night will offer multiple self-directed art projects to enjoy as a family. There will also be up to three sessions in the MPR that will provide families with a 30-minute, directed art experience with Ms. Zobel. It's an incredible opportunity.
