Knights of Columbus, St Louis de Montfort Council 11137

Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

St. Louis de Montfort Council 11137 is located in Santa Maria, California. Most of the members grow in Catholic faith at St. Louis de Montfort Church which is located at 1190 East Clark Avenue, Santa Maria. The Grand Knight for the fraternal year 2018-2019 is Matt Olson. St. Louis de Montfort Council 11137 was chartered on June 17, 1993 with 67 Charter Members and Fred Simpson as our first Grand Knight. Council 11137 has grown to over 200 Catholic men. We are dedicated to supporting the St Louis de Montfort Catholic Church and local community. We provide full programs of Church, Family, Youth, Council and Community Service activities.
