The Economic Alliance Foundation (EconAlliance) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which champions Northern Santa Barbara County key industry sectors to fuel and inspire regional economic vitality. EconAlliance has established itself as a key asset for Northern Santa Barbara County, and as a strong advocate for North County industries and communities and the organization’s Board of Directors represents a cross-section of the industries and communities of North County. EconAlliance counts among its board members and Initiative Leads/Advisors eleven North County CEOs/COOS, other C-Suite executives, Presidents and/or Principals, six Vice Presidents and/or Attorneys, and several Directors and Managers. EconAlliance Board Members collectively oversee several thousand employees of numerous diverse industries and hundreds of projects a year and this is the Board that will see to it that EconAlliance’s Northern Santa Barbara County industry and support initiatives are designed, implemented and maintained effectively.

2025 Crop & Livestock Production Report Released This Week! Santa Barbara County’s Agricultural Commissioner’s Office released its 2025 Crop & Livestock Production Report on June 23, 2026. This annual statistical summary details the acreage, production volume and gross values of the County’s agricultural sector.

Agriculture remains Santa Barbara County’s largest producing industry, with a gross production value of $2,240,877,000. This represents an 11.5% increase compared to 2024. It is important to note that these figures represent gross values and do not account for production costs such as labor, planting, irrigation, harvesting, packaging, distribution, among other production activities.

Effective June 1st, Ignacio “Nash” Moreno will officially step into the role of permanent Chief Executive Officer for EconAlliance.

This seamless transition comes as Interim CEO John Fowler completes his vital mandate: placing EconAlliance on solid organizational and financial footing to pave the way for long-term, permanent leadership. Following review of many candidates for the role, Nash Moreno became the frontrunner.
