La Asociación Agrícola Grower-Shipper en Santa María saluda a todos los trabajadores agrícolas responsables de alimentar a nuestra comunidad. Les agradecemos sus continuos esfuerzos durante estos tiempos tan difíciles. Es muy importante recordar que el uso de mascarillas es un requerimiento en el estado de California. El uso efectivo de una mascarilla protege a nuestras familias, a nuestros compañeros de trabajo y a nuestra comunidad contra la transmisión de COVID-19 en la Costa Central.

Es muy importante:

• Usar una mascarilla en público, en el trabajo y cada vez que no puede mantener seis pies de distancia de otras personas
• La mascarilla debe cubrir ambos la nariz Y la boca
• Usar una mascarilla limpia cada día
• NO compartirlas con ninguna otra persona.

Usar una mascarilla en el trabajo y fuera de la casa.

GSA applauds Governor Brown's decision to veto Card Check legislation and his sense to see it for what it was - a partisan power-grab.

Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed legislation late Tuesday that would have let farmworkers unionize more easily, despite pressure from Democrats and labor allies who considered Brown their best chance in years to enact the bill.
