As Scouts prepare to take part in the annual Scout Sunday tradition on Sunday, February 8th, this is a great opportunity to help them share—clearly and confidently—what Scouting is all about with their congregation.
Scout Sunday is more than just wearing the uniform to church. It’s a moment for Scouts to show how Scouting builds character, leadership, service, and faith, and how it helps young people grow into responsible, caring citizens. It also gives congregations a chance to see the impact of Scouting in a personal way—through the Scouts they know, the families they support, and the service projects that strengthen the community.
By encouraging Scouts to speak, participate, and serve during worship, we help them communicate the heart of Scouting: doing their best, living the Scout Oath and Law, and making a difference through service to others.
