Last night, Karsta, Krista and Becky represented the foundation, and had the privilege of attending the Awards night ceremony, where we presented two awards to outstanding scholarship recipients. Our heartfelt thanks go to all who donated, helped with events, and contributed to our ability to award each with a $1000 scholarship certificate. We are certain that Betty, the foundation's namesake, would be thrilled to see her legacy continue. Sincere thanks.

We had a great response from scholarship applicants from IVVC. They are currently in the judges hands and we shall have an answer soon on their choices. Good luck to all those that entered. It was great to see the students participate and we will hopefully be able to continue this yearly. Watch for upcoming news on events for this year! Thank you

📢 2026 Scholarship Applications Are Out!

The Betty Erickson Carey Foundation has officially started this year’s scholarship process! Applications have been distributed to IVVC for graduating students entering the Nursing field or EMS.

This year we will award two $1,000 scholarships to Illinois college-bound students.
