A few of your Rural Metro Firefighters had the opportunity to volunteer with the Arizona Burn Foundation and give back to the community participating in a summer camp for burn survivors known as Camp Courage.

Camp Courage is a week long camp that gives burn survivors a safe learning environment the ability to participate in numerous summer activities and allowing them to grow and learn with others who have similar stories. Your firefighters had the opportunity to volunteer on the ropes team and as counselors working with the ABF to support their mission in inspiring courage, building lasting memories and allowing others to challenge themselves in a safe and meaningful way.

We are proud to be able to support the Arizona Burn Foundation in their mission snd are honored to be included in such an amazing opportunity allowing us to give back to the community in such an incredible and meaningful way!
