One business that chose to make a difference 💧

When Well in Kirima Village, Uganda, stopped working, families were left without a reliable source of clean water...

Through Wells of Life's Operation Restoration program, .water Advanced Civil Engineering funded the restoration of the well, bringing clean water back to MORE THAN 117 households in this remote community!

This is why business partnerships matter. Whether it's funding a well each year, restoring broken wells, or giving back a portion of profits, companies have the opportunity to create lasting impact far beyond their industry.

Your business can be known for more than what it builds. It can be known for the lives it helps transform. 💙

What do you want your legacy to be? 💧

A restored well or new water project can be dedicated to someone, something, or a milestone that matters most to you. With a plaque of acknowledgment at the water source you fund, your impact becomes part of a community's story for years to come!

Some of the ways our supporters choose to leave their legacy:

💧 In memory of a loved one
💧 Birthday milestone
💧Wedding or anniversary
💧 Birth of a child or grandchild
💧 Graduation
💧 Retirement
💧Family legacy project
💧Company anniversary
💧 Business milestone or major win
💧 Employee recognition
💧Client appreciation
💧Church or ministry project
💧 School or community fundraiser
💧 Honoring a mentor, teacher, or coach
💧 Personal giving legacy

The beautiful part? It's not about having your name on a plaque. It's about knowing that every day, families will have access to clean, safe water because of the legacy you chose to leave behind.

What would your plaque say? 💙

💧 We don’t stop... because the need doesn’t stop.

This month on the ground in Uganda 🇺🇬:
🚰 Expanded clean water access through piped system connections in Mityana & Mpongo
🏡 Enrolled households into new water systems to bring safe water closer to home
💧 Distributed water purifiers to vulnerable families for safer drinking water
🏫 Cleaned & supported school latrines to improve student health and hygiene
🩸 Distributed reusable sanitary pads to support girls’ dignity and school attendance
🌱 Held community sensitization sessions on hygiene & safe water practices
🔍 Conducted water source surveys, compliance checks, and pipeline marking for expansion

Every activity, every village, every day, building toward lasting change.
Clean water work is ongoing work. And we’re fully in it!

“Can I really trust a nonprofit with my money?”
“Where does it actually go?”

We know those questions matter... and honestly, they should.
Transparency and trust are everything when choosing an organization to support!

At Wells of Life, being a smaller nonprofit allows us to stay personal, connected, and reachable. We truly care about every donor, every conversation, and every life being impacted through clean water. 💧

We believe people deserve to see the impact of their giving, hear real stories, ask questions, and feel connected to the mission they’re supporting.

These testimonials mean so much to us because they reflect the heart behind this work... trust, compassion, and lives being changed in Uganda every single day 🌍

💙 Thank you for believing in this mission with us.

🚨 Public Health Emergency Declared in Uganda

Right now, communities in southwestern Uganda are facing an urgent risk of Ebola spread.

Schools and healthcare facilities are on the front lines,
but many don’t have the basic hygiene systems needed to prevent transmission.

Here’s what’s being done immediately:
✨40 schools equipped with handwashing stations
✨Emergency hygiene kits delivered to healthcare facilities
✨Training for healthcare workers in infection prevention
✨100,000+ people reached through outreach + radio

The need is urgent, and the response window is NOW!

The total response need is $95,000.

Because Wells of Life already has local staff, district relationships, and WASH programs on the ground, we can respond quickly.

💬 Share this to help raise awareness
❤️ Donate if you want to help respond now

Every share matters more than you think!!

A private latrine can change the entire future of a young girl 🚻💛

For many women and girls in rural Uganda, access to a safe, private latrine means so much more than convenience.

It means:
✨ Being able to attend school during their menstrual cycle
✨ More privacy and dignity
✨ Greater safety and protection
✨ Lower risk of illness and infection
✨ More confidence in daily life
✨ Freedom from having to walk long distances or wait until dark

Through long-term WASH initiatives, communities receive clean water, sanitation solutions, hygiene education, and ongoing support to create lasting change. 💧🌍
Real impact starts with meeting needs many of us never have to think twice about.

This is what happens when students choose impact over comfort💧

Through the sacrifice of time and resources comes incredible gratitude on the other side! 🙌

This village in rural Uganda is now rejoicing in the joy of a restored well , all thanks to JSerra High School and the impact they made for this community.

Clean water changes everything🚰

Today, we honor the beautiful life and legacy of Sister Joan Hogan 🤍

For nearly 70 years, Sister Joan devoted her life to faith, compassion, and service. Through her work with Wells of Life, she helped fund more than 150 wells and bring clean water to over 150,000 people in Uganda over the past decade alone.

She believed clean water was more than infrastructure , it was dignity, hope, and love in action.

Even in her 80s, Sister Joan traveled to Uganda to witness the impact firsthand and carried those stories with her always! Her kindness, joy, and unwavering faith touched countless lives and inspired so many to serve others more deeply.

She often said:
“As long as I can breathe, I will use my life to serve.”
And she did, until the very end.

Her legacy will continue flowing through every life changed by clean water.
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones…” — Matthew 10:42

Question is, will you help carry out her legacy?

Just a glimpse when women become re inspired & confident in themselves ✨

We are so thankful to have had the Miss Uganda foundation visit some of the girls to not only educate them on menstrual health , but to empower them with some fun!
