Hello everyone and happy 2019.

At our December munch I announced that I am transferring ownership of this group to Pup Arcturus and UPAH.

UPAH will be doing a change as well in 2019. Along with combining these two groups, UPAH will be changing their name from Utah Pups and Handlers to Utah Pets and Handlers. This change is to be more inclusive to all pets and pet players instead of exclusively puppies and puppy play.

Don't fret, this group will still be around for a few months to insure as smooth of a transition as possible. The Facebook and Fetlife groups will still be around until UPAH feels comfortable with this transition.
Munches will still be the same time and place every month. Next munch is TOMORROW 1/14!!
Moshes will still be the same.
Only difference is Utah's Pet Shop as a name will be disappearing.

Please make sure to go join UPAH's group and follow them as well.

Thank you all for a great few years. I am extremely happy with how much the Utah pet community has grown since the group's creation. It makes me smile so much whenever I see pets at a play party, or when I hear more pets find their place and their "people". I will still be around and willing to answer any questions anyone may have.

Thank you to everyone who came to our munch last night.
For those who were not there, Utah's Pet Shop is merging with another Utah Pet Group starting in the New Year. We will still have the same munches on the same day and time but it will be under a different name. Keep a lookout for updates on this process.

I Am Stepping Down, Searching For A Successor
Hello everyone, 2018 has been a tough year for me as a pet player and leader of Utah's Pet Shop. I have felt more and more disconnected from the pet community as the year has progressed and the things I was once passionate about are not true anymore.
With these revelations I have decided to step down from leading Utah’s Pet Shop but I still want to be involved in the future. Instead of planning, organizing, and running events for Utah’s Pet Shop I would like to be a resource and advisor to the next admin. Starting in 2019 I will not be running events for Utah’s Pet Shop. Ideally I would like to find someone to take my place before then.

I am now looking for my successor. If you think this is you then please send Utah's Pet Shop a DM. In your DM I would like to know a little about you. Give me a SHORT bio about yourself and your B**M journey thus far. With your bio I would like you to answer these questions:

1. Why do you want to be the leader of Utah’s Pet Shop?
2. What does a successful Utah’s Pet Shop look like to you?
3. What is a goal you want to achieve with the group?
4. Do you have any skills, connections, resources, and expertise that you can bring to Utah's Pet Shop?

You will have full control of the group but this does not mean you are alone with it. There are other pet play leaders in the community you will be able to go to for help. I do not plan on disappearing completely.

Pride Parade - Utah Leather Pride

Hey everyone! Pride is upon us and the Pride Parade is TOMORROW! Please come out and march with Utah's Pet Shop. I need two people to help carry our banner.

We will all be meeting on the YELLOW BLOCK-200 South facing East between West Temple and 200 West.

This Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at 8:45 AM- between Noon and 1 pm

Line-up, Check in and Sign waivers: 8:45-9:30 AM

Parade starts: 10:00 AM and we are right up front so be on time

We march for ourselves, our pride, our freedom, and our community.

Everyone in the Utah Leather & Kink Community 18+ is invited to march, whether you are affiliated with a group or club or not.

All participants will be required to show proof of age with valid photo ID on the morning.of the parade.
Please check in with a ULP Team Member at the 2018 Leather SLUT title class tent to sign your waivers.
Everyone will abide by the standard rules of conduct as determined by the Utah Pride Center and sign a waiver provided by the Utah Department of Transit as this year’s parade route will cross State Street, a state highway and a Trax Train line.

There are no dogs allowed in the parade. We will have water runners for the contingency. There will be trucks available for individuals who can not/choose not to walk.

Dress Code: Sunscreen! Umbrellas! Parasoles! Things to protect you from the sun.
Please wear Leather Pride colors - Black, Blue, White or Red. Please feel free to wear your club uniform or your group's t-shirt.
No lewd, lascivious or obscene clothing. You must be street legal. If you are found to be in a state of undress, you will not be permitted to march.

The parade ends around the 500/600 east blocks on 200 south. We recommend you , carpool, walk, or take the bus. You can park your car around the end of the parade route but it's advised you either walk or ride trax down to the meet up area. There will not be parking at the start of the parade route so don't try.

This SUNDAY, June 3rd is Utah's Pride Parade. Please come out and support Utah's Pet Shop, the pet play community, and the Utah B**M community. There is a Utah B**M contingent marching and we are always one of the biggest groups. Wear a mask if you fear of being outed but still want to march with us. If you can't then show support on the sideline and cheer us on.

Line-up at 8:45 AM, parade launches at 10:00 AM and we are right up front (please don't be late)
Where: Downtown Salt Lake City: YELLOW BLOCK (200 South facing East between West Temple and 200 West)

18+ only, bring your ID and WATER!

The 3rd session of Leftenant Fox's Training School for Handlers and pets just ended. This session we had pups, kitties, and a heffalump. In the past we've had pup/ fox mix and a Mongolian Fighting Rabbit. If you are interested in being a part of the next course keep an eye out on here or RMPA's page.

November Entry forms are HERE! Come participate in the best training class this side of the Rockies!!!! Classes will be November 12- December 3rd with the test at the TNG party on December 9th.
-Classes will be held at the Menagerie 11 am to 1 pm on Sundays.
-You must be known to either someone who has taken the course in the past, or in good standing with TNG and Menagerie.
-I reserve the right to deny applicants but you will be notified of your acceptance.
