🧡 ADOPT OR FOSTER WING DING 🧡

Wing Ding took “say cheese” to a new level. This guy is literally all smiles and he’s as happy on the inside as he is on the outside.

He loves affection in all forms and can’t be close enough to his humans. He’s great on leash and loves walks. He seems to do well with other dogs and has been great with kids he’s met. Given his age (7 months old), he would love an active family to take him on all sorts of adventures.

🧡 ADOPTION EVENT - AUGUST 30TH 🧡

Zucchini and her remaining babes (Kuri, Swan, Sweet Dumpling, and Bonbon) will all be hanging out TODAY from 12:30-3:30 pm at the PetSmart in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Mama was adopted and recently returned. She’s perfect, but the resident cats were pretty stressed by her addition so she’s back with us waiting for her forever home once again. She would love to kiss shelter life goodbye.

As far as the puppies go, we can’t understand how these cuties are still available. Hopefully, today will be their lucky day.

🧡 MEET KURI 🧡

Kuri is the last pup in our lineup of “Squash Puppy” intros. He is one of nine puppies born at Big Barn in May and one of four remaining available for adoption.

This guy is curious and a little adventurous. He loves toys, but he loves playing with his siblings even more. He’s super sweet and even loves his bath time. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, he may be the one for you.

🧡 MEET AXEL 🧡

He is one of our latest saves from Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control. When we asked our staff to describe him, this is what they had to say…

Axel is a 1-year-old gentle giant, a gentleman on leash, he needs to be close to his humans, loves to give kisses, and is a perfect angel baby. Axel is a big energy matcher. He’s more than happy to jump around and knock you over (not on purpose - he’s 100 pounds of love) if the vibes are right, but he’s just as happy to flop on the floor and relax. He may look like a big brave boy, but he’s a scared softy on the inside. Always checking in with you to make sure the situation is a-ok.

We are currently at SOS status at Big Barn and need some help moving dogs into foster homes. If you are able to open up your home temporarily to Axel (or any other dog at Big Barn) until his forever home is found, please visit our website and complete the foster application.

Over the course of three totally tubular and suspense-filled hours, you’ll experience three acts packed with colorful characters, suspicious behavior and plenty of twists. You’ll gather clues, conduct your investigation and interrogate the suspects as you work to uncover the truth. But don’t get too comfortable…plot twist: could YOU become a prime suspect?! Don’t stop believin’ in your detective skills—you may be the only one who can crack the case!

Of course, no night of crime solving is complete without plenty of food and fun! We’ll keep you fueled with a delicious buffet while you investigate, plus an amazing raffle packed with prizes to win throughout the evening. We’ll be handing out awards for Best Costume, Top Crime Solver and MORE!

🧡 MEET MARVEL 🧡

Marvel was recently found as a stray in Milwaukee and was brought to our friends at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control. When we first met him at MADACC, his body melted into the kennel bars for pets. We instantly knew he was coming with us.

This guy is a bulldog mix who is about two years old. He’s super sweet and tested well with another dog. He wants to be super close to his humans and seeks attention. Marvel has a skin and eye infection our vets will be treating. We can’t wait to see him all healed up!

Look up “marvel” in the dictionary and you’ll see it means to feel wonder or admiration. Fitting for this fellow.

🧡 MEET PERLA 🧡

Perla was recently found as a stray in Milwaukee and was brought to our friends at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control. She was severely matted (swipe for her before) and had to be completely shaved.

She’s about seven years old and is super chill. Perla is calm, quiet, and cuddly. If you’re looking for a lounger and a pup you can take anywhere, she may be your gal.

🧡 MEET SHERLOCK 🧡

Sherlock is just one of many dogs who will be at our open house today. He was recently found as a stray in Milwaukee and was brought to our friends at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control. He’s now hanging out at Big Barn until a forever or foster home is found.

He’s about a year old and is so sweet. Sherlock is a beagle in every sense…loyal, affectionate, food-motivated, curious, talkative, and friendly.

🧡 MEET FRITES 🧡

If you can’t tell from the photos, Frites is a pretty happy-go-lucky little dude. He was found as a stray in Milwaukee and made his way to Big Barn this week.

Frites is estimated to be about nine years young, however he acts like a puppy. He bounces around seeking attention from every human around him. He’s super affectionate and loving.
