We want to tell you a little about Ghosts Mission Rescue and why this online jewelry auction means so much to us. ❤️
Ghosts Mission Rescue is only a little over a year old. In that short time, we have opened our hearts and homes to so many animals who desperately needed someone to believe they were worth saving.
We've rescued dogs who were abandoned, neglected, starving, injured, terrified, and completely forgotten. We've even helped a few kitties along the way! 🐶🐱
Some came to us with broken bodies. Others came with broken spirits. Some needed extensive veterinary care, while others simply needed someone to show them that humans could be kind.
And every single one of them deserved that chance.
Our mission has always been simple: Rescue. Heal. Thrive. Find Forever. ❤️
We don't just want to pull animals out of bad situations. We want to give them the opportunity to heal, learn to trust again, experience unconditional love, and eventually find the forever families they deserve.
But rescue isn't always filled with happy endings and adoption celebrations.
Sometimes, it's heartbreaking.
Sometimes, dogs we've poured our hearts, time, and resources into come back to us. Sometimes, foster families are no longer able to continue fostering. Sometimes, the donations slow down while the expenses keep piling up.
And lately? We've been experiencing all of it.
I'm not going to sugarcoat it. This has been an incredibly difficult season for Ghosts Mission Rescue.
We've had dogs returned. We've lost foster homes. Donations have been extremely low. And despite how desperately I want to help every animal whose story lands in my inbox, we've had to close our intake.
That decision breaks my heart.
Because I know there are animals out there who need us. I know there are dogs sitting in shelters, wandering the streets, or living in situations they don't deserve.
But I also know that the animals already in our care are counting on us.
We made them a promise when we rescued them, and we intend to keep it.
Right now, we have some very real, very immediate needs.
🐾 DOG FOOD! We desperately need to replenish our supply. I will also be taking food to the boarding facility where sweet Aggie and Maycee are staying.
🐾 DAILY CARE! Our dogs still need food, preventatives, supplies, and everything that goes into keeping them healthy and comfortable.
🐾 MEDICAL NEEDS! We have a couple of pups who could benefit from allergy medications and additional care.
🐾 EMERGENCY FUNDS! One unexpected veterinary emergency can completely wipe out what little money we have. We desperately want to build a financial cushion so we can be prepared when one of our babies needs us most.

What we DO have is an incredible passion for saving animals, a determination to keep fighting for them, and a community of people who have helped us accomplish so much in just over a year.
And right now, we really need that community to show up for us. ❤️
