Today was a great day for a great day day to hear more from the Gospel of Matthew. Pastor Kyle continued to share scripture from the 22nd chapter of Matthew, reading verses 34-46 this morning. The message he shared based on the scripture was titled “When the question is the answer”. A focus was placed on verse 37 of the scripture. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

Rita played “Consecration and Remembrance” for the Prelude, “Abide With Me” for the Offertory, and “Lord Dismiss Us” for the Postlude.

Hymns sung were “Jesus Is All The World To Me”, “The Gift Of Love”, and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”.

Take each day of the beautiful week ahead to love the Lord and share the love wherever you go and with everyone you meet!!

None of us walks into church because we have it all together. None of us ever will.

Church is not the reward for getting your life cleaned up. It is a place for imperfect people who need Jesus.

If you have been waiting until you feel worthy, come anyway. You are welcome. ❤️

Took a couple cool shadow pictures last evening at the Saint Paris UMC during the entertainment by the Majesty Quartet.

The first picture was taken when the sun was still shining at 6:14pm and the other at 6:55pm after the sun had set!!

The church lighting and the cross atop the Christian flag worked together to create the shadow but the sun shining through the stain-glass created a faint colorful background around the cross.

Thank you God for the gift of light and the gift of your Son! ✝️Amen🛐
