Good morning, lovely people! ☀️

We will be at the Terre Haute Farmers Market this morning in the parking lot of Meadows Shopping Center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with your favorite certified-organic produce, pretty flowers, incredible eggs and handmade goodies!

Today's market is also themed! (YES!) The Magically Medieval Farmers Market will bring you something a little different to explore, so have fun!

We've been out harvesting, like we do, and our cabbage is 👩‍🍳😚 Next level veggies 😉 Check out those pics!

We are super excited about our new summer kids' program, "Snackin' with the Alpacas"! Our friends at the Vigo County Public Library will join us for 90-minutes of family fun, learning, and food (you bring your own sack lunch or picnic 😊). Our Farmer Tara will share some fun alpaca facts while you dine, and then we will launch into story-time with Beth Nelson of the West Branch. We'll even have an alpaca craft for you to take home. 🦙

Best of all, the program is free (donations always gratefully accepted but not expected). No registration is necessary, just show up on Wednesday, June 24 at 12 p.m. to the red alpaca barn. We hope to see you there!

Did you know about our monthly e-newsletter?

Every month we release a new WVC email newsletter that has stories you might not see on our social media channels. We also like to share seasonal recipes, fun facts about our team and animals, etc. This month, our Farm Support Specialist, Katie Selby, took us on her journey and transition from backyard gardening to small-scale farming. The Terre Haute Farmers Market has some exciting news to share!

Beginning Saturday, July 4, we will be moving to a new location on the grounds of the Vigo County Courthouse. This will be a big change and we want to give our community plenty of time to prepare. Until then, we will be at our regular spot at the Meadows Shopping Center. We will make sure to continue to spread the word in the coming months to keep you informed. 💗

We have some pretty ✨MONUMENTAL✨ news

The market is…MOVING! 🌱🎉📦

Earlier this year, we were invited by the Vigo County Commissioners to return the Terre Haute Farmers Market downtown to the Courthouse as part of their ongoing revitalization efforts. After taking heartfelt consideration, we decided to make the move starting July 4th.

What this means for the market and YOU:

✨ A beautiful location with green spaces (stay tuned for sneak peeks)
✨ Means to support more and new vendors (including food trucks!)
✨Some exciting amenities
✨ Plenty of Parking

Our goal has always been to make the market an experience; a place where the community can gather and grow, supporting local creators along the way. This helps make that a reality.

So we hope you’ll join us for the big kickoff:

🎆✨Downtown on the grounds of the Courthouse on July 4th✨ 🎆

Same time. Same day. Same market. New location.

The last market at The Meadows will be June 27th (The market will continue every Saturday as normal until then).

We have loved having the Farmers Market at The Meadows for the last eight years and the East Side will always hold a special place in our heart.

And of course, this wouldn’t be possible without YOUR ongoing support. We are excited for you to join us in this new chapter! 💚
