Starting this afternoon thru December 2nd, Harmony Haven No Kill Animal Shelter's fundraising drive that I set up before Anita, our forever director who recently disappeared, begins. We still have around a dozen large dogs and about six cats in our care while interim director, Carol Dunham, searches for no kill homes/shelters on behalf of the remaining population of animals...

The Fill the Barrels donation fundraiser runs this afternoon, Black Friday of 2017- December 2nd.

On December 2nd @1:30 p.m. in the Kroger parking lot, Dawn Gehring (me) will honor her mother who died of A.L.S. in 2007, her "adopted" and Missing mother with a like LOVE OF ANIMALS ANITA OSWALD, & all four legged, furry babies who have ever or yet still reside at Harmony Haven and everywhere by doing an Icebucket Challenge before taking her first Polar Bear Plunge in 2018 :-)

The North Terre Haute Kroger location is at Ft. Harrison Road and Lafayette Avenue. Barrels will be placed at each door.

This is a tattoo I told Anita I'd get and surprised her with the following day as I volunteered while she did. Now, especially with the losses I'm suffering combined with some b.s. insinuating or suspicious responses on a page I started BEFORE ANITA DISAPPEARED, WITH HER BLESSING.....

I will stop running this page now. I am disgusted by some of the questioning or insinuating of some responses by the public. I had taken more pics yesterday of the animals still at Harmony Haven, but I'll just keep them privately as I mourn a HEAVY, OVERWHELMING LOSS!

It has been brought to my attention that past pages exist for Harmony Haven. I checked them out. One appears to show very early pics of the facility. Another has a most recent post from 2015. I apologize for any confusion. All I have wished to do is help, doing what Anita had no time or inclination to do....fundraising and public awareness.

In the absence of our Missing Person's director, Anita Oswald, the decision to work toward placing the dogs and cats of Harmony Haven elsewhere has been made and is underway. :-(

However, this process will take time. So we still have a need for donated items until all animals are placed out and our doors close for good.

Thanks so much for the donated dog and cat foods you have provided!!! If you have any more items to donate, please feel free to contact me, Dawn Gehring, via this page or Facebook's Messenger as I am happy to come pick up and deliver them for you!

Please pray that all our beautiful rescued or abandoned babies find places or people who will give them what Anita did...

I will be more than happy, if anyone contacts me through this page or my Messenger (Dawn Gehring), to come pick up any donated items, deliver them up to Harmony Haven, and see that they are dispersed.

ITEMS NEEDED:
Dog and cat foods of any kind or size

Soft canned cat food

WATER!!

Dog or cat treats

Cat litter of any kind or size

Old newspapers

Paper towels and sanitizing/disinfecting floor and surface cleaners

Old blankets and towels

Bless you for any kindness, even just helping spread word on to others, that you can bestow upon the many pets' lives at this time when their "momma" has gone missing nearly a week from their lives!!!!!

1. OUR FOREVER BEFORE DIRECTOR/CARETAKER, ANITA OSWALD, AND HER MAROON SUV HAVE BEEN MISSING SINCE AT LEAST FRIDAY

2. HER HOUSE ON 2nd AVENUE IN TERRE HAUTE WENT UP IN FLAMES EARLY THIS MORNING

3. OUR WATER PUMP IS BROKEN... URGENT NEED!!!

4. DOG AND CAT FOOD AND CAT LITTER ALSO IN URGENT NEED.

5. VOLUNTEERS TO HELP AT FACILITY NEEDED, TOO

Working on efforts to get some air time on a few local radio stations and working possibly with a former classmate, businessman, and dog rescuer...Jay Crapo of Crapo Insurance Agency. Hope we can raise awareness, donations, and spread some pet education!
