Last weekend 5M5 District Governor Elect Bruce Strachota and his Partner in Service, Dina, participated in Walk to D-Feet Hearing Loss at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Along with other District Governor Elects, they are helping raise awareness and support research focused on hearing loss in children.

The St. Louis Park Lions Club wants to give a HUGE shout out to Lions Bill and Shari Thurston. At the MD5M KidSight meeting, Lions Bill and Shari were presented a Certificate of Appreciation by KidSight Board Chair Lion Jim Molde for their years of dedicated service as Directors of District 5.

As they retire as directors, we want to thank them for dedicating countless hours to safeguarding children's eyesight. They have changed thousands of children's lives.
