What's on the calendar for this week??

Wednesday, June 3rd join us for Read with a Dog! Murphy, our certified therapy dog, will be at the Guiding Light Library Wedneday from 10:30-11:30am. Anyone can come visit Murphy, read with her, and sign up for our summer reading program. (We even have prizes for adult readers!)

Toddlers and young elementary age children are also invited to join us for our weekly Wednesday storytime and a craft at 10:30am. Come read with us!

Happening today at 10:30am with Flint Hills Discovery Center!

Because of the large turnout we expect for this event, we will have the event take place in the gymnasium of The Beacon Center Mission

Same address. Same fun! Just a different room to accommodate a larger gathering.

Parking is easiest in the gravel parking lot by the gymnasium. Guiding Light Library will still be open from 10am-1pm!!

We had 10+ kids at our Dino Dig! - Summer Reading Program Kickoff Event !!

Thank you to EVERYONE who signed up for a library card and came to play. We will have cookies and reading tomorrow from 2:30-5:30pm - come sign up for the reading program!

Guiding Light Library is looking for adults and teens who want to make a meaningful impact in our community! We are specifically in need of volunteers for our summer reading program and related events.

Volunteers help support programs, assist visitors, organize materials, and decorate and design displays to make the library more exciting.

Serve during times that work for your schedule and be part of something that encourages learning, connection, and growth in our community. Please message us if you have any questions!
