Hey folks. Here is a little update on the Sno-Angels groomer garage pad prep. Last Friday, Jeff and Doug pulled all the stumps with the excavator from the cut trees this spring. Monday the topsoil was stripped and they trucked 50+ loads of gravel from the quarry my wife and I own that was donated to make the pad for the concrete. Here are photos of what was done so far. We also fixed the entrance at the tar road the snowmobilers use to enter at the lodge. Next will be the concrete pad. Big thank you to David, Jeff, Erwin, Doug, and Douglas for all your hard work. Well done. ;)

Our club is so fortunate in so many ways! We have such wonderful volunteers that do everything from grooming to washing floors, donating goods, working at our lodge events, cooking sweets, etc etc as the needs present themselves.
This last weekend we had just such an instance and we are humbled once again by the generosity of people. During last seasons snowmobile season some very perceptive snowmobilers were visiting our area, doing what the love to do , when an interaction with one of our groomers, Craig Ouellette brought to their attention, that the backup camera screen for our groomer was not working well. Nothing more was said and two weeks ago, we received a brand new set of back up cameras and monitor for our groomer. How do you say Thank You for this kind of generosity? This was presented to us at this weekendโ€™s landowner appreciation dinner and we as a group are in awe! A huge Thank You, go out to Zack Leeman, Declan Doyal. Mike Saunders, Zack Daigle and Nate Rolson. ( Sure hope I got those names right!)

Good morning everyone. St. Francis Sno-Angels had an awesome sunny day yesterday at the club for our landowner appreciation chicken BBQ. Once again, the boys did a fantastic job on the chicken. Couldn't for asked for a better day. Thank you to all that dined in and did take outs. Big thank you for everyone that helped out and the people donated sweets to go with the meal. Greatly appreciated. Also, a huge thank you to the landowners the allow us to use their land for our recreational use. We certainly appreciate your generosity.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Last Full Meeting of the Season!

Our final full meeting for the 2025-2026 season will be tomorrow, May 7th at 4PM at the clubhouse.

Weโ€™ll be talking about our upcoming Landowner Appreciation Meal so keep an eye out for the date as this will be open to the public as well.

Weโ€™ll also be sharing updates on the exciting progress of our new groomer garage. Land preparation has officially begun, and our club is incredibly fortunate to be working toward a safe, dry, and warm space to store our groomer and trail maintenance equipment.

A big thank you to the volunteers who have already jumped in to help get this project underway. We appreciate you!

Hope to see you there!

Evening folks. Jeff and I were back at it today preparing a brush burn at the new groomer garage site. We had lots of bushes to burn, and it made it a little safer burning with light rain falling. Our club president stopped by to check on our progress as well. Sno-Angels are one step closer and now we wait for the ground to thaw to excavate the stumps and site prep. Stay tuned. ;)

Good afternoon, folks. I headed down to the St, Francis lodge this morning to check on the amount of snow left in the yard. Low and behold my buddy Jeff was there and had already taken down some trees where our new groomer garage will be located. I put on my big boy gloves and started stacking brush while Jeff limbed. while Jeff pulled out the logs out later, I took the saw and cut out some underbrush. We got a lot done in just a few hours. We got a few more trees to take down tomorrow and the snow should melt out fast with the trees gone. Thank you Jeff for all your hard work. Here are a few clips and photos of our progress. ;)
