Camp Patriot Animal Rescue & Sanctuary Welcome to Camp Patriot Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, a place where animals in need find safety, love, and a second chance at life. But we can't do it alone.

Founded by lifelong animal lovers Nick Jongebloed and Tara Ballard, our sanctuary is more than just a rescue—it's a dream come true, a promise kept, and a commitment to providing a safe haven for animals who need it most. At Camp Patriot, we currently care for a diverse group of rescued animals, currently including 25 dogs, 8 cats, 7 pigs, and 8 goats. Each animal has its own unique story and dese

rves a loving environment to heal, grow, and thrive. Our sanctuary provides that environment, offering both foster care and permanent sanctuary for animals who need long-term support. One of our favorite words:

ADOPTED!

Timber met his people today. And his people are AWESOME! Timber will have three other husky buddies to play with. He will get to go on twice a day hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and basically live his very best life and we could not be happier!

That's three adoptions in two weeks' time! Stay tuned...we will be spotlighting more of our pups next week!

To see Simba soaking up allll the love and snuggles with this oh-so-sweet family makes our hearts burst with joy!

Simba was our mascot for quite a long time, bringing smiles to all who encountered him. We were totally ok if he stayed with us forever, but we just knew the right humans were out there for him.

And they were! Keep smiling, sweet boy! We love you so much, and love seeing you bring such joy to your new fam!
