UPDATE: As of Tuesday afternoon, the number of applicants for spay/neuter assistance has exceeded the amount of fund available. We are no longer accepting applications and funds are being awarded to applicants in the order in which applications were received. If you applied for funding, but sure to check your email within the next 48 hours. Emails will be going out today and tomorrow to applicants.
The Russell County Animal Welfare League is accepting applications for spay/neuter assistance for dogs and cats now through Thursday. You must check your email to receive your code to schedule your pet's appointment within one week of making your application.

Spay/neuter funding assistance is for pets of Russell County residents who receive some form of public assistance. The assistance covers two pets, and includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and DHPP vaccine for dogs, and spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and FVRCP vaccine for cats.
