Welcome! We are a fall youth cheerleading program for ages Pre-k through 8th grade, in the Western Maine/River Valley areas of Oxford County!

We are so excited for new beginnings & what the future holds! We would love to have your child join our program! We are a fall youth cheerleading program for ages Pre-k through 8th grade, which services the Western Maine/River Valley areas of Oxford County! We cheer for our area youth football teams, and support other local sports & schools.

A basket filled with assorted cleaning supplies to help keep your home sparkling!

Due to the extremely cold temperatures today, we’ve made some changes to tonight’s Rivals Night arrival times and cheering schedules for our teams. 🥶💙

📣💙 DIRIGO HOMECOMING — PARADE TIME CLARIFICATION!

We wanted to share a quick clarification for everyone planning to attend tonight’s Dirigo Homecoming Parade!

The parade was previously announced as starting at 6:30 PM. However, we’ve since learned that 6:30 PM is the time for float judging, and the parade itself is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.

We apologize for any confusion and wanted to make sure our families, friends, and community supporters have the correct information!

💙📣 AYC HOMECOMING — PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 📣💙

We’re looking for a few extra helping hands during lineup for tonight’s Dirigo Homecoming Parade! 🎀

We could use some help with:

💙 Helping es**rt cheerleaders from the drop-off location behind the Dixfield Library over to our float behind the old Towle’s Hardware building.

🍕 Helping hand out pizza and water to the girls if coaches need a hand.

🎀 Assisting coaches with keeping the cheerleaders together, organized, and ready to go while we’re waiting for the parade to begin.

Our coaches will be there coordinating everything, but having a few extra adults available during lineup would be a huge help!

⏰ Volunteers would need to be available starting around our 5:30 PM cheerleader arrival time and stay to help until the parade begins at 6:30 PM.

We appreciate all the ways our AYC families step up to support our girls. It really does take a team, and we’re grateful for every helping hand! 💙🤍📣

🎟️💙 AYC RAFFLE BASKET DONATIONS NEEDED! 💙🎟️

AYC is getting ready for our final fundraiser of the season, and we could use a little help from our families, friends, local businesses, and community! 💙

We are currently collecting:

🎁 GIFT CARDS & GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift cards or gift certificates of any amount are welcome - restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations, stores, local businesses, entertainment, Amazon, and more!

🎟️ SCRATCH TICKETS
Maine Lottery scratch tickets of any denomination are welcome.

💵 MONETARY DONATIONS
If you’d rather contribute cash, that works too! Monetary donations will be used to purchase additional gift cards, gift certificates, and/or scratch tickets for the raffle.

There is NO required donation amount and donations are completely optional. Whether you’re able to contribute one scratch ticket, a small gift card, a few dollars, or something more, every little bit helps us put together a great fundraiser for AYC. 💙

📅 DONATIONS DUE: OCTOBER 5
We will be collecting donations from now until October 5th.

Donations can be given to April or any AYC coach. If you’re a community member or local business and would like to contribute, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to arrange getting your donation! You can message us here on the AYC page or contact April Ryerson.

Once everything has been collected and the basket(s) are put together, we’ll share all of the raffle information, hand out tickets and sales will begin. 🎟️

💙📣 SO PROUD OF OUR AYC CHEERLEADERS! 📣💙

Last night was such a special moment for AYC, and we are so excited to share their Homecoming performance! 🎀🏈

When we started this season, we weren’t completely sure what Homecoming would look like for us or whether we would be able to put together a performance this year.

But our coaches came together, created something that all three of our teams could be part of, and our cheerleaders got to work.

And in just TWO WEEKS, they learned it. 💙

Last night, our Littles, Juniors, and Bigs had the opportunity to take the field together as ONE program, and they did an amazing job!

These girls span different ages, teams, experience levels, and abilities, but in that moment none of that mattered. They were simply AYC.

They entered the field together.
They performed together.
They supported one another.
And judging by those smiles, they had a whole lot of fun doing it. 💙📣

We couldn’t be prouder of them.

Learning a performance in only two weeks and then stepping onto that field in front of a Homecoming crowd is something to be proud of, and every one of these girls should be proud of themselves.

A huge thank you also goes to our coaches who worked together to make this happen. From creating and teaching the performance to bringing three teams together and getting 36 excited & nervous cheerleaders organized and onto that field, this truly was a team effort. 🤍

One of the things that matters most to me is building a program where our cheerleaders know that while they may belong to different teams, they are all part of something together.

Last night, we got to see exactly that.

🏈📣🎀 HOMECOMING IS TONIGHT! 🎀📣🏈

It’s Homecoming Night, and AYC is excited to be joining in the festivities! 💙🤍

Come out and celebrate with us tonight for the Homecoming Parade, football game, and AYC halftime performance!

🎉 HOMECOMING PARADE

⏰ Parade begins at 5:00 PM

📍 The parade will leave from Mountain Valley High School, travel down Hancock Street, continue over to Waldo Street, and make its way back toward Hosmer Field, where the parade will end.

Find a spot along the route and keep an eye out for our Littles, Juniors, and Bigs! 📣🎀

💙📣 A HUGE THANK YOU, AYC! 📣💙

Tonight was such a great reminder of what can happen when everyone comes together for our cheerleaders.

We had an amazing turnout of parent volunteers tonight, and I truly cannot thank you all enough! Parents jumped right in and took care of banners, megaphones, handprints, and all the little things in between. You kept everything organized, worked together, and got SO much accomplished, which allowed us to focus on coaching and give the girls the practice they needed, while everything for Homecoming was being taken care of around us. That made such a difference. 💙

Coaches, you continue to step up every single time you’re needed. You give your time, energy, ideas, patience, and so much more to this program and these cheerleaders. I’m happy to be working alongside such a wonderful group of people. 🤍

Between tonight, the incredible support for our bake sale, and everything else we’ve seen already this season, I am just so grateful.

AYC isn’t only about what happens on the sidelines. It’s parents showing up to help, coaches giving their time, families supporting our fundraisers, and everyone working together to create something special for these athletes.

I couldn’t be happier with how this season is going or more thankful for the people helping make it happen.

Thank you to every parent, coach, and family member who continues to show up for AYC and our cheerleaders. Tonight was a HUGE success because of all of you! 💙🤍📣🎀
