Rowlett Rotary Club The mission of the Rowlett Rotary Club is Service Above Self! In 2006, the Rowlett Rotary Club contributed approximately $10,000 for a water well in Zambia.

Rotary provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. In 2009, the Club gave over $6,000 in charitable contributions to groups in need of financial assistance. WHAT WE DO:
The Rowlett Rotary Club is involved in a number of service projects and supports a number of charit

ies in the Rowlett and Greater DFW area, including the following:
• Adopt a Rowlett median
• Sleeping bags to the Austin Street Shelter
• Jonathan’s Place
• Texas Voice Project
• Angel Food Project
• Angel Tree
• Rowlett Needy Children’s Fund
• Rowlett Teacher of the Year
• Civil Servant annual recognition
• Blood drives to bolster the community blood supply

This is our chance to give back to so many students who have worked tirelessly to make the Rowlett community a supportive, enjoyable place to live. It has truly been inspiring to see so much heart and drive in so many young minds.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have each day.

This Memorial Day, we extend our gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the families who carry their legacy forward. May we never forget the courage, service, and selflessness that define this day. 🇺🇸

Please note: the cutoff for Memorial Day deployment was Friday at noon. Any flag leases purchased after that time will be included in our next deployment for Flag Day.
