DG Textile Care is looking for Rug Donations for their Rugs for Classrooms program. Rugs for Classrooms is a community initiative where DG collects unwanted rugs from the community, cleans them and donates them to teachers for their classrooms!

Our next event is in August and we are trying to help as many teachers as possible! We will be collecting from now until August! Please reach out if you have a rug you would like to donate!

🎉🎉 Our Rugs for Classrooms event on August 9th at the Loudoun Valley Community Center was amazing! ❤️

We turned over 46 rugs to teachers from all over in about 25 minutes! 🤯 46 rugs unrolled, claimed, rerolled, taped and carried out! We have compiled a list of schools where the rugs are headed! Take a looksy!

📣📣I want to first and foremost THANK EVERYONE who donated a rug! The impact you made is REAL!💯

💗 Every teacher was so appreciative! Together we CAN make a difference!

💯 My major take away for our 1st ever Rugs for Classrooms event was - There is a real need for Rugs in Classrooms!!

Rugs are not just decor for a classroom, it sets the tone for learning.

💯 As one commenter posted " Rugs have such a HUGE impact on the feel of a classroom".

Having this event as solidified my belief that this is a great cause that the whole community can be a part of by just simply donating a rug they no longer want!

❗️❗️We didn't have enough rugs for the amount of people that showed up! As much as I hated it, we had to turn at least 20 people away.❗️❗️

So we are compiling a waitlist of teachers who would love to be able to recieve a Rugs for Classrooms rug.

💯 Tell your friends and share! We will collect rugs throughout the year and hopefully next year will be bigger!
