Roselle Sister Cities German Committee

🇵🇱🎭 The Roselle Sister Cities Polish Committee’s Annual Fundraiser-Enchanted Masquerade Gala at Venuti’s in Addison was a success! A wonderful evening filled with great company, fun, and support for the Roselle Sister Cities Association mission. Members of the Roselle Sister Cities German Committee also joined in the celebration to show support for our Polish friends!

Roselle’s Polish Sister City is Bochnia, Poland! 🇵🇱

But what does it mean to be Sister Cities? 🤝 Sister Cities partnerships bring communities from different countries together to build friendships, share cultures and traditions, learn from one another, and create lasting connections across borders. It’s all about bringing people closer together, one friendship at a time! ❤️🌎

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the gala and helped keep the spirit of international friendship alive!

Busy week in the community for the German Committee!

This past Wednesday, the team supported Culture Night at Springhill Elementary. Teaching the students about German and German traditions, we also served Apple Strudel from Renate's German Restaurant. It was a great experience!

And that's a wrap! The final step of our official Sister City signing with Laatzen and Roselle was to present the document to the Village of Roselle. On Monday, October 11th, we did just that!

Thank you, David Pileski, Village of Roselle Mayor and the Village of Roselle Trustees, for all your support. We're excited to begin plans for next year with Roselle and Laatzen.

The Roselle Sister Cities German Committee kicked off Monday's Board meeting with a brief recap of their August 2026 visit to Laatzen, Germany to make our Sister City relationship official ❤️ Thank you to the RSCA German Committee for all you have done to nourish this relationship, and for proudly representing Roselle overseas!
