Pack 199 celebrated with an end-of-year skating party filled with pizza, cupcakes, awards, and of course, lots of skating fun!

As we looked back on the year, we were amazed by everything our Cub Scouts accomplished together:
⭐ 295 adventures earned
⭐ 20 Cub Scouts earned rank advancement
⭐ 5 service projects completed, totaling 16 hours of community service
⭐ 3 camping trips, totaling 144 hours of camping
⭐ and 31 adventures and special events attended beyond our regular weekly meetings

Our Scouts also showed incredible dedication during our fundraising efforts, finishing as the top popcorn-selling unit in the district and ranking among the top sellers for discount cards as well!

These achievements are a reflection of the hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment of our Cub Scouts, families, and leaders. To recognize this outstanding year, each Scout received a special Pack Pride Patch and certificate for helping make this one such a successful and memorable year.

We are so proud of everything our Scouts accomplished this year and can't wait to see what adventures await us next. Thank you to all of our families, leaders, volunteers, and community supporters who helped make this year possible.

What a great way to wrap up our weekly Cub Scout meetings for the scouting year! Last night, our Cub Scouts enjoyed games, popsicles, bubbles, and sharing some of their favorite memories from this past year. They also talked about what they're most excited for as they move into their next ranks.

While our regular meetings are taking a break for the summer, the adventure is just getting started! We have a summer packed with camping, swimming, hiking, skating, pizza school and so much more.We can't wait to see what adventures await our Pack this summer. See you on the trail!

A few of our Pack 199 Cub Scouts spent the weekend at Diamond Lake for Free Fishing Weekend! 🎣

It was a little chilly and windy at times, but whenever the sun peeked through, it was absolutely beautiful. While we had plenty of nibbles and a few "almost caught it!" moments, the fish managed to stay one step ahead of us.

Thankfully, the Forest Service had a special fishing area set up where the kids could catch Rainbow Trout. The Cubs were thrilled to reel in their fish and take them home for dinner! 🐟

Even without much luck on the lake, it was a great day filled with fresh air, fun, and plenty of fishing adventures.

Our Cub Scouts were hard at work wrapping up their final adventures before our rank advancement ceremony!

🦁 Lions explored the world of Technology.
🐯 Tigers worked on their Fishing adventure.
🐺🐻 Wolves and Bears focused on Physical Fitness.

⚜️ Meanwhile, our Webelos took an exciting step toward their future in Scouting! They met with a Scout and leader to learn more about their upcoming Arrow of Light journey and what it means to cross over into a Troop. They also began choosing their patrol name, designing their patrol patch, and started creating their patrol flag and yell.

We're so proud of all the hard work these Cubs have put in this year and can't wait to celebrate their achievements at rank advancement!

These individuals dedicate countless hours to our Scouts, families, and Pack. We truly couldn't do what we do without their support, leadership, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

🇺🇸 What an amazing evening at our Liberty in Action Challenge Celebration! 🇺🇸

Pack 199 families came together to celebrate America's 250th anniversary with an evening full of food, fellowship, service, and hands-on learning.

Throughout the evening, our Cub Scouts learned about our nation's journey to independence and explored the history behind the different flags that have represented America over the past 250 years. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the people, events, and symbols that helped shape our country. Our Cubs discovered that while our flag has changed, the ideals of freedom, service, and citizenship remain at the heart of our nation.

Our Cub Scouts stepped back in time and learned colonial-era skills by making butter from scratch and rolling beeswax candles. They also enjoyed playing traditional games like hopscotch, 9-pin bowling, and French hoops. Scouts created their own messenger bags and spent the evening sharing positive notes with one another, spreading kindness and encouragement throughout the event.

Service was also a big part of the celebration. Families donated books for local Little Free Libraries and made cards for troops serving overseas, helping our Scouts put the values of citizenship and community into action.

As a special reward, every Scout who attended earned two commemorative patches that are only available during this milestone year: the Liberty in Action Bell Patch for completing the challenge and a special America's 250th Anniversary Patch celebrating our nation's birthday.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make this event such a memorable celebration of our country's history, values, and spirit. Here's to 250 years of liberty, and to raising the next generation of engaged citizens! 🇺🇸🔔

Yesterday, Pack 199 and Troop 114 had the honor of helping prepare for Memorial Day by placing over 300 flags at the graves of Veterans at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. 🇺🇸

It was a meaningful opportunity for our Scouts to give back, reflect, and show respect for the men and women who served our country. Thank you to all who helped make sure these heroes are remembered and honored.

What an unforgettable weekend at Rendezvous 2026! 🏕

Our Pack 199 Cubs had an amazing time camping alongside more than 700 Scouts from all over Oregon! The weather brought a little rain and plenty of wind, but our Scouts didn’t let that slow them down one bit.

Throughout the weekend, they jumped into so many hands-on activities including candle dipping, leather working, log cutting, branding, basket weaving, and so much more! There was never a dull moment, and the Cubs loved getting to try new skills and adventures.

Of course, some favorite memories came from the campfire evenings filled with games, music, dancing, laughter, S'mores and spending time with fellow Scouts.

We are so proud of our Cubs for embracing the adventure, pushing through the weather, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Until next year, Rendezvous! 🐾
