to help our Campers participate in
a variety of sports and other physical activities. Activities take place at or are launched at the Roseburg YMCA. Partner Sports Camp pairs kids & young adults (Partners) with young people who have special needs (Campers) to help our Campers participate in
a variety of sports and other physical activities. The partnership of Partners and Campers allows them to do things they might not have been able to do otherwise, and it can give Partners a very rewarding and meaningful experience that they will value their whole lives. Partner Sports Camp activities have included swimming, soccer, basketball, taekwondo, golf (both disk and regular), tennis, fishing, hiking, and lots of other things. Partners are 12–21-year-old youths who are generally able bodied and neurotypical. Partners help our Campers participate.

Campers are 8–21-year-old youths who have special needs. Campers might not have any other camp they can attend because of their special needs, so Partner Sports Camp is where they get to go to feel just like a "regular kid".

Volunteers are adults who can coach a sport and/or are able and willing to help with day-to-day tasks, such as putting up and breaking down the tents, setting up and breaking down equipment, serving and cleaning up food, supervising our youths, and many other very helpful and needed tasks. Please note that a background check is required.
