As you have likely heard by now, our successor contract and our wage package are before the Connecticut General Assembly for action. It has passed the Appropriations Cmte votes and will now face a House vote and a Senate vote sometime between April 27 and May 1. This is the time when we need you to....

March 2026 Update...Contract Negotiations Completed-

The A&R Negotiations team, led by our Chief Negotiator Rhonda Tillman, has come to a tentative agreement with the State on a successor contract!

Happy Monday, Everyone!!

We had another successful annual A&R holiday party at the Aqua Turf!! THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, A&R members, the Military and NBC for making this a successful event!! We had over 800 members in attendance and collected hundreds of toys, canned goods and cash donations for the Military Toys for Tots, which will be combined with NBC‘s Connecting to Joy toy drive this Saturday, December 13th. Also, a shout out to Chris Hookie, our excellent DJ and MJ Gissas from MJ Giggly’s Photo Booth who both did a fantastic job!! And, congratulations to all the raffle prize winners, and secret Santa gift winners!!

We have the best A&R members EVER!!!!

November 2025 Update -

The A&R Holiday Party is all set for Friday December 5th at the Aquaturf…however, registration closes at Noon on 11/25 (no exceptions!).

It’s time again for our annual Holiday party at the Aqua Turf on December 5, 2025!!! This is always our biggest party every year with fun games and AMAZING raffle prizes (lottery frames, 65” TV, HUGE baskets full of top quality items, gift cards, and a few other top notch prizes)!!! 

Please be aware of the following registration deadlines:

Walk-in’s/online registration closes: 11/25/25

Did you know that the A&R contract grants you one half-day of paid time to attend either a union or agency holiday party? It does, and you get to choose! (MOU 3 page 107 of your contract; CORE-CT code: LPRTY).

A&R has held many negotiation sessions with the State regarding our next contract (our current contract expires on 6/30/25). The discussions have been cordial and somewhat constructive, however, we are nowhere close to an agreement. Thus far, discussions have predominately focused on "language" item...
