Working in film and TV is amazing. But also long…12-15 hour (or even longer) days! That's why Fresh Films trains future creators as one of our on set summer internships in learning how to produce corporate media. Another skill set. Another part of the industry.

The filmmakers on this project also learned how to encourage 40,000 employees worldwide to give to charity.

Earlier this year, our student filmmakers from the Atlanta Metro area attended a very special tour…the taping of a 50th Anniversary Episode of Family Feud at Trilith Studios!

Thanks to our incredible partners at Fremantle US, our Fresh Films filmmakers got not only a behind-the-scenes tour, but a chance to meet the one & only, Steve Harvey

Tours such as these open the eyes of our youth filmmakers, inspire them, and allow them to realize the possibilities of a career in media production. Suddenly, a pathway that seemed out of reach becomes possible!

Youth from School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett High School , Discovery High School, Georgia Gwinnett College & Central Gwinnett High School in Atlanta share how the Fresh Films program helped them feel prepared for the future, in their careers & beyond.

Interns got to work on a live set, experiencing the roles they'll one day be in, and gaining the confidence to go forward and apply their skills. Accomplishments like this helped these young people realize their potential, understand what they are capable of, and grow into someone who can say, "I can do that!"

Fresh Films is proud to work with NBCUniversal as a Nonprofit Creative Agency! Over the next few months, we will be working on marketing videos that tell the story of Woodcraft Rangers Our Fresh Films apprentices (Los Angeles/San Jose):

✈️✨Leaving Home to Work in the Film Industry!

This summer, Fresh Films youth from Downey Unified School District, Warren High School & Long Beach Polytechnic High School in LA and around the country came to Rock Island, Illinois to gain experience working on a live film set.

Interns got the opportunity to learn from professionals in the industry and network with fellow young filmmakers from all over the country. These connections gave students the confidence to push themselves out of their comfort zones, trying new things, unlocking their potential and watching themselves grow.
