Our June member of the month is MaKenzi Rowland!
MaKenzi is an upcoming sophomore, who has learned many valuable lessons and made so many memories during her first year. MaKenzi’s favorite Interact memory was Nights at Knollwood! She said, “I loved making new friends with the Knollwood residents and getting to spend time with them!” A fun fact about MaKenzi is that she loves to spend time with her family and friends!

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Our last senior spotlight is Alli Amason! Alli has been a member for all four years of high school and now serves as President! During her time in Interact, Alli has made a lasting impression on the club and community! After graduation, Alli will attend Auburn University and plans to major in Nursing with the goal of becoming a CRNA. Looking back on her time in Interact, Alli says, “Interact has taught me the importance of serving others and being apart of something bigger than myself.” As she moves on to the next chapter, Alli is grateful for all the memories she has made over the last four years. Alli says, “Thank you to the club and to Mrs. Seiffert for all that you’ve done. It was an honor to serve as your President this year!”
Congratulations Alli! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what your future holds! 💙💛

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Today’s senior spotlight is Chloe Moore! Chloe has been a member for 3 years and now serves as Secretary! Through her time in Interact, she has learned just how important community is and has built meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime. After graduation, Chloe plans to attend Jacksonville State University to pursue a degree in nursing. Reflecting on her experience, Chloe shares that Interact has not only taught her valuable life lessons, but also helped shaped who she is today. She is especially grateful for Mrs. Seiffert, who made a lasting impact on her journey. As she moves on to the next chapter, Chloe encourages all members to put in the effort! She shared, “This club wouldn’t be what it is without the members putting themselves out there and signing up for events. If there is ever a service opportunity you think you wouldn’t enjoy, I say sign up anyways because something good always comes out of it.”

Today’s senior spotlight is Karlee Benefield! Karlee has been a member for three years! Karlee has learned so much from Interact that she will take with her in this next chapter. After graduation, Karlee plans to attend Jacksonville State University to complete her basics before enrolling into the nursing program. As she looks back on her time in Interact, Karlee shares what she has learned. She says, “ Interact Club has taught me community awareness most of all. In a small town, even the smallest projects can have a big impact, and it’s important for teenagers to recognize the needs around them.” As she moves on to the next chapter, Karlee reminds members that Interact is about what you make of it. “Don’t be afraid to take initiative on projects you are passionate about,” Karlee encourages.

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Today’s senior spotlight is Baleigh Clanton! Baleigh has been a member since her sophomore year! After graduation, Baleigh plans to attend Southern Union State Community College to pursue a degree in nursing. Over the past three years, Interact Club has helped Baleigh grow as a leader and teammate while showing the value of service in the community. Through volunteering and working alongside others, she discovered that even small actions can make a lasting impact. She said, “Seeing the challenges others face right here in our town and working to solve them has shown me that I actually have the power to make a difference in the community.” As she moves on to the next chapter, Baleigh advises the club to never underestimate your ability to change someone’s day. Baleigh shared, “I will forever cherish the friendships I've built and every moment we’ve shared. Thank you for making these past three years unforgettable!”

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ✨
Today’s senior spotlight is Cora Altork! Cora has been a member for four years where she has learned the importance of volunteering in the community, building strong relationships, and showing dedication. After graduation, Cora will attend Southern Union at the Opelika campus to study business! Looking back on her time in Interact, Cora says, “This club has been an experience that has helped me develop my skills as well as my confidence and character, and I strongly believe these lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life!” As she moves on to the next chapter, Cora wants to thank Interact for all the opportunities it has given her. “I’ve always looked forward to participating in anything Interact related because I knew I would gain unforgettable memories and relationships,” explained Cora, “I hope this club will always be a part of Handley so others can have the same positive experience as I did!”

Today’s senior spotlight is Camille Brown! Camille has been a devoted member of the Interact Club since her freshman year! She has dedicated many hours and learned so much throughout her time. After graduation, Camille plans to attend West Georgia Technical College and complete the Dental Hygiene program. As her time comes to an end, Camille shares what the club has taught her over the years. She says, “I learned to never be afraid to get involved with the community and help out.” As she moves on to the next chapter, Camille wants to encourage members to stand out and stay involved. Camille is thankful for all that Interact has taught her. She says, “Thank you Mrs. Seiffert and the Interact Club for helping me come out of my shell over the past four years. Thank you for showing me how much more I can accomplish.”

Today’s senior spotlight is Eli Crenshaw! Eli has been in Interact for four years! Eli has learned a lot during his time in Interact! After graduation, Eli plans to head straight to work at Candlewick! As he looks back on his time in Interact, Eli believes his membership in the club has prepared him for his future. He says, “Being in Interact has taught me how to be involved in my community and how to be a better person.” As Eli moves on to the next chapter, he would like to thank Mrs. Seiffert and the club for an amazing four years. “This club is one of the best things that has happened to me,” said Eli.

Today’s senior spotlight is Zion Ware! Zion has been a member since her freshman year! Through her time in Interact, Zion has learned the importance of community and made many friendships! After graduation, Zion plans to cheer at Point University and major in communications.
As she reflects on her experience in Interact, Zion says, “Being in Interact has made me appreciate my community more.” As she moves on to the next chapter, Zion encourages all members to “Continue to work hard! I see a lot of potential in all members!”
