📚🎒 PFLAG Back-to-School Supply Drive is BACK! 🎒📚
The demand for school supplies is extremely high right now, and many families are being priced out of basic essentials. Nationally, about 1 in 4 students (25%) cannot afford the school supplies they need. In addition, a recent survey found 39% of parents report they are unable to afford back-to-school shopping.
✅ Our PFLAG School Supply Drive runs February 1 through July 10.
✨ Last year, our community provided over $2,000 in supplies and support.
This year, we are determined to overdo that and help even more students start the school year prepared and confident.
👩‍🏫 This is personal for us.
Peggy, Lee, and I are all teachers, and we see the impact firsthand every day—students showing up without the materials they need to learn, participate, and feel confident in the classroom.
