POTS OF LOVE: THE BLESSING TABLE 🩵
We understand that while the holiday season can be magical and exciting there are also many people that are facing difficult challenges and chronic illnesses don’t make it any easier. Over the last few years POTS of Love has reached many people across the United States and we have had the privilege of hearing many different testimonies.
Last year we had the privilege of blessing a family for Christmas by helping support them with buying a few presents for their children. This year that family and the impact it had has been heavy on my heart, and lately I’ve felt the desire to do more. That’s why this year I’ve decided to do something called “The Blessing Table”. POTS of Love will be extending its reach just a little bit further this holiday season.
What is the blessing table?
It’s a holiday ministry that’s designed to meet the needs of the people in the chronic illness community. That may look different for each individual recipient, like the last year we had the family that we helped with their family’s Christmas presents for the kids. Maybe it’s helping with providing a thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, or something completely different. We have always said that POTS of Love is more than a package, we are a family. We truly want to reach more people and believe the scripture in Matthew 6:25-34 where it talks about how God provides for even the simplest things like clothing the flowers with beauty and the sparrows are given food to eat. If God provides for them how much more will he make a way to provide for you, his greatest and most cherished creation of all.
Who can apply?
Anyone with a chronic illness. You must be over 18 to apply, if you are under 18 your parent or guardian must fill out the forms for you and be the one in communication with me. You can also apply for a friend or family. We are opening up very limited spots so filling out the form doesn’t guarantee you will be chosen or you might be waiting for a longer period of time.
When can I apply?
Applications are now open, and will close on November 15th. You can access the form through the google docs link in our profile. The application is called “the blessing table”

Our next opening of our waitlist will be in just a few weeks!

What is it for?
POTS of Love is an organization that tries to bring a little joy to those struggling with chronic illnesses. We send you a package with a few things that could bring you some comfort and joy to get you through some of the rough flares. You can either apply to the waitlist for yourself or you can sign up for a friend or family to receive the package. If you are a minor wanting to join the waitlist, your parent has to be the one to fill out the form and be the one in contact with us.

Who can join?
We started originally sending out care packages to POTS patients only but now we have expanded to care packages to many others with different forms of chronic illnesses. It is open to people of all ages however if you are a minor, your parent need to be the one in contact with us and filling out the forms. We are sending packages to those located within the United States however we are looking to expand and reach other countries. Due to this in addition to the 15 slots that will be open to the US we are looking to send 1 package to someone in another country. This will be first come first serve and please send us a direct message (this can be before our visit waitlist opens up to the US).

How to Join:
At the time of opening we will unlock a google form that’s located in our profile, you will need to completely fill out the form This is first come first serve. Once it is filled out we will be reaching out to you within the next few days to confirm your spot on the waitlist!

How to help?
The packages are free of cost to all recipients, however they are not free to make and ship. The costs of supplies and shipping add up quickly. We appreciate any donations to help keep us running, our community is the only reason we are still able to keep reaching people across the US. We have links in our bio that you can use to send us a donation or buy supplies off our Amazon wishlist. You can also send us a message for more ways to get involved.

POTS of Love Update:

Hey everyone!
I first want to start off by thanking everyone for their support, all the donations, likes, shares, and follows really helps keeps us going. There were still a few of you that had reached out regarding donations.

For those of you that would like to support us with donations:
We have two different ways you can help out. The first way is to purchase items off our Amazon wishlist. These are items that we use to include in the actual packages. Another way that you can donate is by sending money donations. We have our own Venmo account and any money received goes to cover shipping costs or any additional items needed for packages.
As of right now donations need the most would be:
- shipping costs
- shower wipes
- dry shampoo
- compression socks (small or medium)

Package Updates:
The last few months we have been very busy and shipped out 18 more packages the first week of May to people across the US! We have a few more letters that we’ll be mailing out this month.
After that I will be taking a short break from mailing packages so I can take some time to rest and getting fully restocked with our supplies. I will still be checking for messages and emails so if you have any questions feel free to reach out. I will be also taking some time to work more on the informative side of our organization when I come back from my break. I have put the blog and podcast in the back-burner to try and push out as many packages as I could so I will be returning to work in that. With this being said our packages waitlist is temporarily closed but it will reopen again shortly.

Update: 📦🩵📦🩵

We appreciate all of our new followers on both Facebook and Instagram! We have over 1.1 K followers on our facebook and we are almost to 100 followers on instagram! Each and every one of you are the reason we are operating and able to reach people across the United States (and soon hopefully other countries as well!)

I also want to thank everyone that has or is signed up to be a recipient for all of your patience. I also one person who also have numerous chronic illness trying to run this organization and balance my regular life with school, work, and my health. With that being said I am putting a pause on putting together physical packages as I have caught a cold. I do not want to spread anything to any of the recipients. I also need time to let my body recover, because as many of you know when you already have chronic illnesses and get sick with something else on top of it, it makes things a lot harder to recover.

Thank you again for all of your support, for the time being I’ll still be checking my messages and answering any questions that people have. Once I get over this cold you should expect to see quite a few packages going out! 🩵

We want to hear from you!

As we keep adding new resources to our website to offer more support for those with chronic illnesses, we want to hear your thoughts. What are some resources you want to be able to read up on?

We also are about to launch our blog! The first post is a bit delayed but will be out this week. What are some topics you want our blog to touch on? (This is a blog about living with chronic illnesses so keep it within that aspect).

And lastly, we are looking into starting a podcast where we will invite guests to talk with us about different topics related to chronic illnesses and how it’s impacted their lives. Are there any specific people or accounts you’d love to see us interview?

We have so many big things in store for this year and can’t wait to share them all with you!
