We're excited to partner with Tilmor, with support from The 11th Hour Project, to launch a grant program to help more farmers access electric power units designed for small and mid-size farms. Grants will support the purchase of a Tilmor Super E (electric cultivating tractor) or E-Ox (electric wheel hoe), with awards covering up to 60% of the equipment cost.

This grant is about more than getting equipment on one farm. We're looking for farms and farmer-led organizations that can share their experience and help other farmers learn about and adopt electric equipment.

Applicants should be working farms or organizations that:
🌱 Have a proven record of growing healthy food for their communities
⚡ Have a real need and appropriate use for electric equipment
🤝 Share knowledge, equipment, or resources with other farmers
📍 Have the potential to serve as a resource or demonstration for farmers in their region

🌿 Help keep our public lands clean!

Join High Plains Farmers & Ranchers and Wyoming Food Coalition on Saturday, October 24, for a community cleanup of BLM grazing land outside Laramie! Together, we'll help make these shared spaces safer for people, livestock, and wildlife.

After a day of giving back, enjoy chili, cornbread, and good company, with dinner provided by farmer BJ of Taste of the Wind!

🥙 Join the Wyoming Food Coalition for their Annual Conference Nov. 12-14 at the Ag Resource and Learning Center in Casper.

The Wyoming Food Coalition is a statewide organization working from the ground up to improve access to healthy, locally produced food by connecting the dots between producers, consumers and the environment.

The conference kicks off with a Member Appreciation Dinner on Nov. 12, and presentations the following day include a butchery workshop on total carcass breakdown, food policy advocacy training, a cooperatives model business panel, a food safety presentation, resources for rural resilience, an indoor farmers market and more! The Conference wraps up on Nov. 14 with a half-day of Farm & Farm Stop Tours and a grab-and-go lunch. Free childcare provided.
