Sometimes a Gotcha Day is extra special… especially when we get to celebrate a dog who has waited patiently for over two long years.

Ozzy came to us carrying a lot of baggage. People had not been kind to him, and because of that, trusting people didn’t come easy. But day after day, month after month, Ozzy waited and slowly he learned to trust again.

And today… we celebrate!

One of our amazing volunteers opened his heart and home to Ozzy, and now this wonderful boy gets the happily ever after he always deserved. Ozzy loves his new dad, and we couldn’t be happier for both of them.

Happy Gotcha Day, Ozzy! Your wait was worth it.

Sissy and Lilac come from a very sad past. Used only for breeding, these sweet girls spent their entire lives indoors without knowing the love every dog deserves.

Now, their new life begins.

They are learning that windows let you see the world, that TVs aren’t scary, and people can be kind. Every day brings a new discovery and a new reason to trust.

These girls will need patient, loving homes willing to help them navigate a world they’ve never known. The journey may come with challenges, but the reward of watching them blossom will be priceless.

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, BRODY! ❤️

This was an incredibly special adoption for Boxer Rebound.

Brody came to us a little over a year ago after reportedly being used as a bait dog. He arrived with a severe laceration on his head and was understandably unsure if Boxer Rebound was truly a safe place for him.

Over time, our volunteers continued to show up for him, calm, patient, and consistent. Brody was very slow to warm up to people and, honestly, quite selective about who he trusted. As you can tell, he is an incredibly handsome boy, so we received many applications for him! But we knew Brody needed someone willing to earn his trust and put in the work before bringing him home, which meant his adoption journey took a little longer than usual.

We could not be more excited for this perfect match.

Brody, you made an impact on all of us. You are a beautiful reminder that healing and change can happen when patience, love, and consistency lead the way. ❤️

A while back, we introduced Charlee and asked for help finding her immediate placement. So many of you reached out and offered support. Thank you!

Thankfully, Charlee was able to find her forever home, even though she did not ultimately come through our rescue.

We are deeply grateful for this incredible community that always shows up when it matters most. You truly are the best. ❤️
