Compassion For Canines is a foster based rescue organization dedicated to aiding homeless dogs in South Eastern Virginia, and North Easter North Carolina. All of our dogs are placed in fosters homes, and will be available to meet upon request.

Mystique gets along well with other dogs and is learning that having canine friends can be a lot of fun. Grover is a 3-year-old French Bulldog with a heart as big as his adorable bat ears. This sweet boy loves people and is happiest when he's by your side, whether that's lounging on the couch, supervising your daily activities, or soaking up all the attention he can get. He has a gentle, affectionate personality and is ready to become someone's loyal best friend.

Hampton Roads foster needed for Reily, a 2yr old Corgi. She found herself on the wrong end of a fight with a large breed dog a few days ago, and is looking for a comfy place to recuperate in while she waits to find her forever family. She has been neutral with dogs at the shelter, but we don’t think she’d love young, rowdy kids.
