Abigail's Place, based in Richmond, Texas, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing temporary homes and resources to single mothers and their children.Founded in 2015 by Shereen Sampson, It has been recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS since March 2016. The organization provides short-term housing, with data indicating an impact rating for their shelter services. Since the inception AP has grown to seven homes and resources to help the families served.

May we have your attention! Abigail's Place has made a decision to postpone our annual gala for 2025, our new date is October 3rd 2026. The Gala will be held at the same location as planned on the first Saturday of October 2026. We know this is disappointing to many, our board made the choice as we know economic hardships are affecting all of us. Thank you to all that support Abigail's Place and we look forward to next year.
