Ever wanted to go on a community-wide scavenger hunt and get rewarded for it? Starting this Thursday, October 29th, keep your eyes peeled while wandering around downtown Richmond and the Depot District for Seek & Treat!

Our local kids and community members at Paint the Towne, Boys & Girls Club, Townsend Community Center, and Oblivion Arts have been hard at work painting wooden forms, and they're officially hiding out in the wild!

Here’s how you can join the fun:

Find a painted form hidden around downtown or the Depot District.

Check the back to see which local business it's paired with.

Bring it inside to claim your treat! The shop will keep your piece on display so everyone can keep enjoying the local art.

Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to step inside a local shop you’ve been meaning to check out!

You have until November 7th to redeem your finds.

Kickoff Event:
We’re launching this Thursday alongside the Depot District's trick-or-treat and Morrisson-Reeves Library's Fangtastic Fall. Make sure to swing by the library to catch the grand unveiling of the Halloween community mural!

Just a reminder we will be closed today for a community event. We will be back open tomorrow Thursday Oct 29th from 12-4pm.

Fangtastic Fall Festival is this Thursday, 5 - 7 pm.

Bring the family for trick-or-treating through the library. Local organizations will be set up inside to hand out candy and trinkets in a safe, dry environment. Plus we'll have a spooky haunted house inside the library!

While you are out, be sure to check out the 2026 Downtown Trick or Treat (Depot District & Main Street). Businesses across the Depot District and Main Street will also be handing out treats to the community all evening.n area.

Tuesday October 20th. We will be offering DIY trick or treat bags during our open hours. ***while supplies last***

Wednesday October 21st- the center will be closed for staff training.

Thursday October 22nd. We will be doing Halloween Planters with Purdue Master Gardeners from 4:00-5:00. ***This class is currently on a waitlist. ****

Our friends at Reid Health sent us this flyer about a free community pet supply distribution in Wayne County on Saturday, October 24! 🐾
