Our Pinewood Derby is right around the corner! I hope you have all been working on your cars.

Here is the sign up genius for snacks. This year to speed things up, we would like to have everything portioned in easy to grab single serving sizes if possible. (Paper muffin liners work great).

Pinewood Derby - Sunday, April 12th
Friess Lake Elementary

For easy reference, here is a copy of the Rules and Car , please review to ensure you are good to go on Sunday.
Remember all 4 wheels must be touching the ground and you will want to be as close to 5oz as possible, but cannot be over.

Please reach out if you need any help or have questions.

This weekend is our annual Blue and Gold banquet celebrating our Arrow of Light scouts crossing the bridge from Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts. It will be held at Richfield Middle School from 12:00pm-3:00pm with lunch being served prior to our crossing over ceremony.

At this event, we will also be asking for payments for River Rats for everyone who is signed up. There may still be a chance to attend if not signed up and will need to talk to John Lindeman at the payment table. I also want to make you aware that we have CLOSED our Venmo account for the pack, as our treasurer is crossing over as well. We will be figuring out a new online payment source as soon as we can, but until then we will be only accepting cash or check. The Square service may also be an option. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We will also be handing out Pinewood Derby cars for the event on April 12th. D.A.D.S cars will also be available for purchase for $7. Anyone can build a car, not just dads. Siblings and moms are also welcome to join in on the fun!

See you at Blue and Gold on Sunday!

One of our biggest events is upon us which is caroling, bowling and awards ceremony!
All of the boys really look forward to it as it's a day of fun and community service.

The day starts with giving back to the community by singing carols to the residents at Fairway Knoll at 10:30am. We all meet at 10:15 to make sure everyone is ready to go and can review the carols. You are encouraged to wear a festive holiday hat and accessories to bring even more cheer to the day.

Next, we will all head over to Village Bowl for 2 hours of bowling, pizza, and soda. Shoes are also included in the price which is $17.50/person.

After all of the fun, we will go to the event space downstairs for all of the scouts to receive their awards they have earned so far in the year. We also will "honor" those who have the most popcorn sales but allowing them to pie a person of their choosing to celebrate their achievement.

After that wraps up we will have our Parent Committee meeting. We encourage any parent to stay and find out a little more about the pack and ask any questions or provide feedback on any upcoming pack events. As you all know the pack runs on volunteers and we have several open positions that need to be filled. Most of these positions are a few hours a month or less and we are happy to train anyone who is interested.

This is another pack event where parents and siblings are welcome to attend and participate so bring the whole family!!

Please RSVP by no later than Monday December 1st

Join us for caroling, bowling and scout awards! Siblings and parents are welcome and the cost is $17.50 which includes 2 hours bowling, shoes, pizza and soda. Pack Bonfire is Fri July 19th starting at 6pm at the Daniel Boone Scout grounds just west of the club grounds. Bring your marshmallow sticks for smores over the fire after hiking through the trails and playing games.
