Our very own Locksmith Al (trail section master north of Pioneer road past Kenicky's) will be looking to repeat as champion this year at Lake Sinissippi Ice Racing. Racing should go all afternoon. If you're looking for something to do, go cheer him on!

Essentially all of our 20+ miles of trail have been groomed since Sunday night. Ride em while it's cold! Please be especially courteous in the few places where the trail is near homes. Loud sleds are one of the biggest complaints we get. From what I saw yesterday, 99% were staying on the trail - that is really nice to see - thank you!

Please note that our I-41 crossings at Freidstadt and Western are closed as these are not passable at this time. We anticipate corn to go off with the warm up so these should be good to go next time around. Cross I-41 via Sherman road between Ackerville and Jackson until further notice.

The pic is six years ago to the day (minus 1 day) The trails closed three days prior on March 8th 2019 after a 9 day run. The trails were open two times prior that season for 9 or 10 days each time.

We’ll reminisce at our meeting at Pioneer Bowl tonight at 7:30.

If you’ve been out on our trails you know there’s good and not so good conditions out there. Seems like the wind was stripping the snow off the north/south oriented trails and depositing it elsewhere - sometimes on the east/west trails. Unfortunately we have more of the former. We were out all day doing what we could. If you can avoid track spin that’ll go a long way to allow us to keep it going for those that will brave the bitter cold this week.

A lot of little ones riding in front of or back of mom or dad (or both in at least one case) so that was nice to see. Really appreciate all the thumbs up!

A few club members will be checking KMSC trails on sleds this morning. If you want to do that too next time, join the club.
Look to WCASC.com for trail closed or open and condition updates.

We will make every effort to update the map below with any closures, or known hazards as well as add signage to the trail to indicate special conditions, but it is ALWAYS the rider's responsibility to exercise common sense according to conditions on the trail.
